I have never seen any true Top Talent on this show.

As a guy I'll be honest...yes, women mature earlier, fuller and have a sense of wisdom that men can never, ever catch up to...especially a mum or a nan. That being said, now in my 40s I mansplain to my little nieces and nephews that ladies and gentleman cry even though they feel proud or when they feel a lot of joy...it's a feeling that comes on really fast that your brain can't quite figure out if you should laugh or cry so sometimes on special occasions you do both. Crying for me gives me a headache...like, pushing migraine...it's a newer thing...having suffered grief and loss in the past few years that have been devastating. But, I saw this movie about a year ago and I was doing the mixed crying with joy and pride for this character...and that hurt. Maybe, I'm just looking for an excuse to take a drag on my prescribed herbal "purple crush" indigo in a pipe...I don't cry much then....just can't have the room totally dark with my big computer screen right in front of me trying to watch a movie and it's RIGHT IN MY FACE...that I can't see anything else by the 27inch screen...but, then I see something moving or shimmering just behind my screen...in the darkness....yeah, the Insidious movies didn't help without the dimmers on in my room....sheesh.

What film is this scene from? That's clearly ASL, but isn't she a British actor??? Mind blown... Did she learn to sign in ASL just for this film? As a Japanese speaker I naturally find BSL easier to understand since it follows verb postfix structure.

Maybe this repetition that I am facing has some meaning. That’s life! It give us all same chance to do again and do different way. What if we could live eternal, recurrence of the same? Would you want to live a life like this? Maybe the way I interact with surrounding environment may be different? That… All boring unknowns people also has their own story that deserves your attention. The way to have love is to be kind and show that kindness to people, they may impress by your kindness and devotion rather than by take the kindness personally, trying to do good deeds for the one you like… And art in different forms as painting, music, poem, sculpture… has it meaning in the repetition of life!! People gonna stop for few second and look at how beautiful life is… Sometimes we also give ourselves a chance/ a room for the hating and darkness, the antisocial, the selfishness… so we could know that living by this way could not help us psychologically long run.

You could do an entire acting class based solely on Marlee Matlins reaction in this scene. It's incredible. Emilia absolutely kills it too.

I think people read too much into this great film. We seem to be overlooking the great joke Leon has absolutely no clue who Madonna is lol I actually wish Natalie had got to perform the whole song. She gets to sing more in this scene than Woody Allen allowed her to do oddly in his musical film Everyone Says I Love You.

This is one of my all time favorite songs and seeing it expressed beautifully through signing makes me love it even more. Also a shout out to the pianist accompanying Emilia, I love his expressive but restrained enjoyment of her singing.
