A pandemic and humanity stands still? Is it possible to be free even when locked up? An art experiment in a former jail in Berlin. Creating worlds beyond walls out of solitary confinement.
#JailSessions is a platform by artists for artists. We want to go to a place that was made to destroy the human spirit and change the atmosphere and create another world. Out of a prison cell artists show that beauty, creativity and freedom are not dependent on whether we can go out or not.

This is an amazing INTERACTIVE Jailsession for which we need YOU and your creativity!
Create alongside Multi-Instrumentalists Daniel M. Ziegler and Andreas Steffens, as they explore the acoustics of their prison cell creating soundscapes with acoustic and electronic instruments as computers, loops and effects.

How?
- Just watch and listen to this session at home, be inspired and create alongside them
with your art of choice. Could be painting,drawing, pottery, dancing,cooking,...

Hier berührt ihr den Kernpunkt dessen, was mich als Künstler bei euch angezogen hat aufzutreten - Was ich die Transformation der Kultur des Raumes bezeichnen würde: Man spürt regelrecht im Verlaufe des Videos wie der ehemals für ein unfassbar destruktives Pionier-Ereignis bekannte Raum in ein Raum der Zuversicht um-transformiert und gedeutet wird - In diesem Moment stirbt der Hass und die Hoffnung lukt mit dem Ton hervor, bis sie sich gänzlich in der Schönheit der Kunst zur Ausreifung bringt. Hier malt mir die Performance das vor Augen, an was ich glaube. Danke.
