Love this band. May not be immediate on first hear but there is quite an array of influences in their music, they are Canadian and I think you can hear it they being a wonderful tripartite-mix of US, Canadian and British influences. Her singing is of course totally different but I get massive Clash vibes of the first track, and that period of music that is just after punk. Ohh and on a side note I love her outfit.

WOOHOO, they're coming to San Diego in a couple months. I already have my tickets. How many bands have ever been this good? Zeppelin definitely, the GoGos, not sure about any others. Pop sound but tragic undertone... kind of like if The Smiths were girls... and Canadian.
