@@ZacharyHappy366 I think about 4 612s are standing but 2 are inactive due to The Moanalua one getting deactivated and the Poly one which got hit by a bus and speakers are cooked.
The ASC I-force STI1600 was removed due to that salt water making the siren rust in a badly condition making the color lighter green-ish. This also happened to the screaming Thunderbolt, the salt water blows the direction of Kalanianole hwy. It affects to the other thunderbolts like the one in punaluu, Ala Wai Community Park. The one at keapuka in Kaneohe was removed cause the purpose of HIEMA replacing that ASC.
Any current updates regarding this siren? It appears to have been updated with Satellite & Cellular antennas but I’ve heard nothing regarding it’s operational status in the past few years.
Inactive, was taken offline in 2020 for repairs which was supposed to be completed by the fall of 2020, but it was then decided to just replace it entirely as plans for the replacement were already created back in 2016ish to replace with a 6024B and move it somewhere between 100-400 ft away from its original location. I heard you moving to Washington. I’m gonna miss the Hawaii sirens. But since you said it. Idk I’ve seen it since September. And on October 1st no sound but just a couple Modulators Or DSAs In the Distance.
@@theplaneeditorstjpoharyant3107 Sadly from what I was told, a tour bus smashed into the battery box and the speaker drivers are baked so sadly that 612 is officially dead.
Unfortunately that 3012 kalepolepo failed the test. In one of my siren ambience the 3012 was the loudest out of the 2 6024Bs in Lipoa.
Where’s the He’eia Neighborhood Park EOWS 1212?
The DSA and Thunderbeam were the loudest ones. The 6024 can be heard at the end and the 612 should be audible when the 612 rotates.
I saw It got tooken down
Yo, Thunderbolts! 😎
Hi Modulators! What's up? How are you doing today? 😂 😅 👋 😎
Can’t they just retro fit these legacy sirens with a 2001 controller? It has batteries.
I wish HI-EMA would do a 2001 instead of a 6024B. If they need a whoop tone they can just install some 3024Hs
@@Pro19910 I just wonder when they just add EOWS 612, 1212 to have whoop tones on their siratones. It much will sound lot more cool
@@ZacharyHappy366I feel bad for you and Ethan. You guys lost all you’re 1212s and that one in Heeia is Inactive I think.
@@Pro19910 mostly on the west side is more classical than village park cause we only had 1 siren which was an 612

Imagine if they did this right behind the eows dsa combo 😂
Fr😂😂
😭😭😭😭😭😭🖤🎗️💔💔💔💔 i loved that siren
Sounds pretty faint, I wonder if the 6024B down the road at Lipoa was working bc that is pretty quiet.
Uh question for you Did they fix the poly 612 in laie?

I wonder why the sound wasn’t getting any louder since I was living by Kalepolepo Beach.
