Her heart is in the right place and I absolutely love the idea of this school. The only issue I have with her promoting affirmative action is it isn't reciprocated for jews in Muslim countries that I've seen. Maybe if they had a sister school in a Muslim dominant country?

Hello!! Congratulations to Alice Nderitu. I am a resident of Nakuru Kenya working for a UN Trust fund Project to ending Violence against women and girls in Nakuru town. I know how the ethinic clashes that happened 10 years ago affected women and girls. Some of our beneficiaries are still struggling with the impact of the 2007/2008 pre/post election violence. Seeing women such as Alice winning global awards rejuvenates some of us working for pluralism. Personally am concerned that even after Kenya had come up with a very comprehensive National Action Plan for the implementation of UN resolution 1325, there hasn't been much that have taken place to operationalize the plan. I look forward to meeting Alice Nderitu and discuss more on how some of us at the grass roots can contribute to sustaining her initiatives. Congratulations ones again to Alice Wairimu Nderitu.
