How to make Instant JAPANESE CURRY at home in the INSTANT POT
Do research, don't sandblast vintage cast iron or you lose all value.
Lol. Do YOUR research. In the video I said that I left it outside. It’s not vintage, it came with my famp chef stove. I’m not a collector. I even wash my cast iron with soap 😱 When my pans get weird or rusty i just reseason them. It’s all a part of routine maintenance and inspections with propane related accessories. 😜
@Indo_chef my comment was for people who see your video and might do it to vintage cast. There are ways to clean cast without removing any of the metal. Soap is fine for cast, and I'm not sure where you went down that path unless you assumed I was some old guy who thinks soap is still bad for cast iron. I have restored a lot of cast iron and when someone has used a sandblaster to remove rust you can see it, even after seasoning.
@Indo_chef don't get me wrong, I am glad you saved that one. It was just a warning for someone with really valuable vintage cast iron. Hope you are still using the griddle and it has done well for you. When you said it was better than chemical or electricity to clean people could get the wrong idea.
I just say silly things to increase engagement.
By better i just meant easier and faster. At least it would have been faster if we knew how to use the machine better 😝
good thing u were able to ask about the previous owner. got kinda curious too as i’ve been a regular there since March and got used to seeing him there often
He said that he’s ready, but not ready to retire. The good news is the portions are still large. The new BC roll is great!
keep up the fire content bro 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks, i’m going to try and get some shorts done over the winter break
Hello cracked me up. Thanks!
Thanks! I’ll be making more videos in the kitchen after christmas😃
I made this for my Mum for an early Christmas lunch and she loved it. No uncooked leathery fatty bits, it's worth overcooking the meat slightly. Such an easy recipe too, just a little bit of prep the night before. I cut the wings off and took them out early, I also added the bits of skin that got cut off and got over a cup of fat from one duck! This and pork shoulder are my favourite roasts, the carcasses make excellent stock as well.
Merry Christmas to you and your mum. That fat is so good for roasted potatoes.
BRO, where'd you get your chef's apron? I want one!
I got it on amazon. It’s awesome. It even has loops for tongs. I had to dig deep to find one that doesn’t hang off my neck. Those ones drive me crazy. I love the pockets because I can carry my audio recorders, hide my lav mic, and phone.
I need this 😍😍😍
The BC roll is great now
Definitely trying this for Christmas 😎🦆
Do a practice one first. Dishes always go wrong on a holiday first attempt 😃
@Indo_chef thanks
Crap video
You have absolutely no idea what you are doing.
Thanks. Merry Christmas!
Great video. Massive respect for responding to such negativity with kindness! God bless you, friend. Merry Christmas.
Thank you, and very merry Christmas to you too 🎄
Hello fellow Canadians, are those prices after conversion ?
Before conversion. 😭 Other places were $20USD. Food prices were generally outrageous in Waikiki.
Pickle farts❤❤
Where do you eat in Waikiki?
Best duck video yet! 😋
Thanks! I rarely make duck. I’m due for making another one.
Thanks for this; I'm a huge fan of high-roast, spatchcocked chicken and was looking to do the same for duck & goose. Nice to see it turns out well. And the butternut squash was a nice bonus!
Thanks for watching! Try it with turkey too. It saves sooooo much time. I haven’t tried cooking a goose yet. Are they only in specialty shops? It’s something i only see in cooking videos.
@@Indo_chef Yep, I do this with turkey when I'm too lazy to fry it. Whole Foods typically carries duck year 'round and goose around the holidays. It's a dark meat, much like duck; if you like duck, you'll like goose.
@asdisskagen6487 i’m too scared of starting a fire to fry a turkey. I need to find a goose now 😃
Usually the collapse of the bread means you over proofed your bread if it collapsed like that
If you want make a batch without the enzyme and make sure you don’t over proof the bread and see if that’s the issue then you can make another batch with the enzyme and see how it turns out
@juliusgarcia8086 it was 100% the enzyme. The overall texture was a thing of nightmares.
No punctures on the skin?
No need to. The fat just runs out.
@@Indo_chef yes but the point is to have it render and flow out over the skin to make it crispier during roasting. yes it's not necessary but it's an easy step that elevates the texture of the dish
@drumbum7999 different pokes for different folks 😜
Hello
Hi
The burger looked good but small
I agree. I would have preferred using both patties in one burger.
On to it!!
It’s officially Christmas season. Time to get fat!!! 😃
What’s your fav christmas song?
last christmas is the best one. its literally so peak 🙏
For me the ultimate christmas magic is the guitar intro to jingle bell rock
How'd you separate all the fat in the sauce
Sometimes i’ll just ladle out the sauce into a fat separator then add the liquid back in
this is my sign to buy kecap manis again omg i’m filipino and this isnt that accesible to us
My blood is 50% kecap manis.
Spam breakfast there is yummy and great value . I enjoy the convenient location for this McDonald’s. Just a few steps away from our hotel . Keep posting your honest reviews Indo Chef !
The hotel review will be very honest
Watch your wallet here! Oh yeah, prices are kind of high too! Mahalo🤙
I didn’t have any pickpocket issues on this trip, but I had to watch the money flowing out of my wallet with the high prices of everything in Waikiki. The Canadian exchange rates hurts 😭
@Indo_chef It goes SO fast...
From what people tell me, McD's and Korean BBQ are the only affordable restaurants to go to... Maybe I should say the least rip-off... But seriously, I know Spam is something that became a thing since WW2 and Portuguese Sausage I assume is from Portugal and popular in Brazil, but is there nothing authentically pre-colonial Hawaiian?
From what i saw in person it seemed only poi and kalua pork were the only pre-colonial foods. Filipino and japanese style dishes dominated the eastern menus.
Looks gooooood!! Of course everything was way overpriced for the regular menu items.
Everything is more expensive out there
that place has good pho noodles
They really are good. Even better prices 💰
Great to see you both on here!
It’s much better than talking to myself for an hour
Hello
Welcome to my channel
I didn’t see anything in Josh Weissman‘s recipe calling for amylase. I must’ve missed that part. Anyway, I didn’t use it and mine turn out perfect.
I think he has 10 versions of buns by now. There are two kinds of amylase and i’m sure that i got the wrong one 😝
@ well at least I know what amylase is now from your post. I’m a cook, but I had to Google it.
Interesting. Never knew I should pierce the chicken to marinade. SMART!
It’s something that I see a lot of Chinese chefs do. It really does make a difference 😃
U should try peanut butter next time it’s the best
That will be my next one for sure! 😃
Ture
Gotta catch ‘em all
TO BE THE VERY BEST
Do you like feastables? What do you think of @mrbeast
Most olive oil is blended with cheaper oils and contains maybe only 20% actual olive oil...
The olive oil “legitimate business companies” don’t like us talking about that. We could end up sleeping with the fishes.
Valid points on the AI images, yeah they were overkill a lot, and appreciate the forgiving presumptions in the workflow. Hardest challenge was since it's AI, it's janky, it's broken, it's almost impossible to get right. So majority of the images you saw, took a considerable amount of time in trial and error to get. Then, once we got a decent amount, we ran out of time, so had to work with what we had, which in this case meant repeating the same images over and over again. If we had more time, oh yes, we would've had more opportunity to create a better visual story.
Everything I try with AI ends up with extra hands and eyeballs. Even for my real estate shoots i end up with the oven disappearing or virtual staging where tables have one leg and are stuck halfway through a wall 😜
19:24 There is a 5.1 surround sound version that exists, However none of us were experienced enough in knowing how to deliver a 5.1 version for cinemas, turns out it's not just "hit export 5.1 lol" Then we ran out of time to fix the issue, so unfortunately, we had to distribute in stereo. Breaks my heart too, the 5.1 was awesome.
Throughout the movie i kept thinking “he’s better than this. Something must have happened” I love your editing. Your tips helped my videos a lot. The eye-line trick during jump cuts really cleans up a video 🔥
🎉🎉🎉
Woot woot!
Tell me what you loved or didn’t love about the new @samandcolby movie 😃
Thank you for stopping by and we hope you enjoyed your visit. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
I wanted to review your main dining room but it wasn’t open for the day yet. I would love to do a full resort tour video in the future if you are interested. 😃 The food smelled so good from the restaurants.
Costco hotdogs are yum
I love them. Good thing i’m already married. Nobody wants the costco burps 😝
Love it!
⭐️
I can now pulse grind with a food processor, thanks dude!
Thanks for watching. If you don’t pulse the grind, it turns into greasy dust really fast 😜
Love that whole area . The trees and Falls are very impressive . Bacon looks delicious on that grill Indo Chef !
The scent of bacon enhances the view
Awe I miss swimming in little qualicum falls ❤
Did you swim below the falls? It looked pretty dangerous
@Indo_chef I dont remember seeing the location in your video, my cousin jumped from a bridge and there was a large area were people swam, than a large rock cliff everyone jumped off, this was 24-25 years now, its probably fenced off now
They have fences everywhere. I saw one guy climb the fence and almost fall off the cliff.
@@Indo_chef oh thats scary, I'm glad they fenced it all off
_Geweldig!_
Congrats on your 1k subscribers Great video Currently on our way to 10k subscribers. 💪🏽 See you at the top
Thanks for watching. I have a big video this weekend
Sate (indonesian for satay) combined with peanut sauce is INDONESIAN NOT THAI. Anything else is grilled meat on skewer as any culture has its own version. We don't cook pad thai and call it pad indo.
Why are you arguing with yourself? Because of spelling?
RealLemon instead of juice from a fresh lemon. I quit watching after that.
It does say EASY peanut sauce. Lemon out of a bottle is the easiest method 😝
@@Indo_chef I'm a purist about that. Besides, it's almost as easy to squeeze a lemon as to open a bottle and pour it out. 🙂 (Anyway, I did watch to the end and will make this - with lemon juice my way LOL.)
@steveweinstein3222 don’t make me get the country time powder 😝
@@Indo_chef "Where are my salts? I feel faint." 🤣
@@Indo_chef I made it - with lemons. Delicious!
well done!! Looks so good :)
Thanks so much! 😊
