I think once you have the 3.0 you can finally do the next update thru wifi on your MPC. I haven't tried it since I updated my mpc software to 3.0. The new update just released today or yesterday.

Does this have to be thru the SD slot? I have mpc 3.0 on usb thumb drive into the top of my one +. The mpc doesn’t detect any update files on USB drives.
