I have been looking for this derivation for a while and finally i found your video. Great content
crystal clear explanation
😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
Phenomenal video, I finally have an intuitive sense to it.
I bet you left it for us to derive at 6:13 cuz you dont know how to do it
Where did the "y" go in your d(eta)/dx term? 8:38
part of [1/(2x)] * eta, since eta = y * sqrt (U/nu * x)
Amazing simple explanation, thank you!
Excellent video! Is it possible to have your email? I would like to ask furthermore questions related to 1D Numerical study of convection . Thanks!!
So helpful! Thank you!
Thats good but if we have source term what will do solution the problem?
What if the material's thermal conductivity is temperature dependent?
I find this very useful.
🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🌐🌐
🔥✨
Hi professor, I am student. Where could I find your spreadsheet template? Thank you very much.
Thank you. Please can you do same for an inclined plate
Hello, where can we get the python code for this problem?
Superb🎊
one of the best expalination of numerical method available on youtube far better than my proffesor
Excellent 👌
mic disturbance is irritating
Awesome. Taking advanced fluid mechanics and heat transfer this semester. This one video just saved me in both subjects.
Where did that equation come from
What a great lesson thank you so much Mr.
what's the difference between v and u velocity?
v is vertical velocity and u is horizontal velocity
Hello, i was wondering if you were able to please help me construct something similar to your video for a varying geometry problem? I have a few different finite difference equations to use based upon a couple different conditions. I was using Excel solver to begin with, but can only use it for 100 calculations, rather than the thousands i require for an accurate solution? Am i able to email you something for advice? Thanks in advance
The best video related to blasius equation...gone through many videos but this is best out of all
Should there not be an "h" term on the left side, in A66?
can you solve this way with heat generation?
one of the best channel in fluid. Wish you found you sooner. Please add boiling heat transfer and heat transfer of cryogenic fluids.
How did blasius find out that similarity parameter has that form?
unclear, I know you are very clear with it, but I did not get the clarity.
This video is pure gold, you gave me everything I needed in the most understandable way
I agree with you thats really the most useful and amazing video i could ever find, i was nearly going crazy
Beautiful explanation. Thank you
Thank you Sir.
Sir it's very useful. Plz teach python code for the same problem
Excelent explanation! But I've a question, the natural convective coefficient which in your problem is equal to 5.0, It isn't going to variates while the radius of the insulation increase? Thank you and greetings from Argentina!
Question: What is a biot? Answer: BTS
Chad
Awesome Video, briefly and smoothly explained . Great Work. Thank you Professor !

Thanks for the video. By the way, I am a beginner in python, and I would like to know if you can provide me with the code to run and modify it ...
Really excellent lecture . Thank you so much
The sound quality of the videos can be improved. Other than that, great explanation! Thank you so much.
👍
How did you determine the local Re_x to plot the skin friction coefficient?
Very neat .. Thank you
Thanks for deriving v all the way!
Probably the best teacher with amazing explanations on youtube
