I just got a vive and quest 2 for 50 bucks total. The quest was free because it was giving them an error message, but I just charged it and it updated, then worked perfectly! This was just a few days ago, and my first VR or 3d experience. My first console was the Atari 2600 and this was some Tron like shit. Amazing.

The GT 730 it's not useless it's a cheap option for those that got a CPU without integrated graphics, i got one to ressurect a Windows XP computer due to it's XP support (and the one i could find and pay) with the GT 730 i have given a HDMI output because the motherboard only have VGA output, i can play 90's and 2000's video games like: Starcraft, Warcraft II and III, Age of empires, Serious Sam, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, Half life 1 and 2, The Simpsons Hit & Run, Manhunt, Bully and more titles, it's better than the most graphics cards from XP age, 2gb ram the graphics cards only got 512mb ram or 1gb, it's almost ready and soon i'm gonna enjoy it when i was a child but much better!!!!

I sometime got back to it from a Vive Pro, and it's still very fun, I think OLED and tracking are what matters, at least for roomscale games. Once you are moving around and killing zombies you don't really care about pixels. You can also get Vive Pro for like 200€.

Yeah the first Vive is still kicking in modern VR! Although if you want to buy one, make sure its controllers have blue ropes instead of grey. That's a second revision and it's quite a bit lighter on your head and has slightly better mic.

I have had this since 2016, and it is so bad that i barely ever used VR over the last 8 years. Now that I finally upgraded to the Quest 3, I am using VR all the time. It is absolutely not worth buying the outdated 2016 technology these days.

After a recent pc upgrade, RX 7800 XT, Ryzen 7 5800x3d I picked up one of these for a similar price. Totally worth it! I tried vr on a previous pc and didn't have the horsepower at the time. For someone who has been playing pc games since the 90's it's pretty amazing to me that I have virtual reality in my house. Worth every penny
