I have the mini one with the drum sticks. It’s cute, and very portable. Good because I don’t have a lot of space, and great for travellers.
Yes. Joy it is a tank drum? They are a little more 'durable against knocks' and less likely to go 'out of tune'.
Where can I get one. My late father played something similar.
Glad to hear your father played a similar instrument. You may be able to find a traditional flute maker in your area. Most flute makers today will craft them to 440hz. However, you may be able to find a flute maker that crafts them in magical tunings such as 432hz. I adopted this one from a flute maker who resides in the Brisbane/Gold Coast area. I’m just breaking it in. Just getting used to fingering it. I have small hands and fingers lol My Dad is Romanian Russian, and he had a very folky sound. He played by ear, and was a natural.
