It is a "quiet room" where mothers with crying babies can go in to settle the child and still be able to view and hear the church service. That's why there is also a heater mounted to the wall and most likely a speaker box mounted up high, so the parent can hear the service.

Gaseous Ammonia, Liquid Ammonia, That was an Ammonia compressor used for Industrial refrigeration, these plants usually run Anhydrous Ammonia, Its a very efficient large scale refrigeration system but are very high maintenance due to the dangers to personal if a ammonia leak was to occur. Where i work we have a very large Anhydrous Ammonia based refrigeration system, we have look at replacing it with a more modern refrigerant but nothing comes close to the efficiency of Anhydrous Ammonia at this scale.

They're pallet racks and are used for storing stuff like raw materials etc that is stacked on wooden pallets which are placed in the racks using a forklift

I first thought this was the RAAF base at Aircraft, I worked there for about 2 months back during the pandemic. There were a lot of buildings in various states of disrepair, but not quite to the extent seen here. We did our fair share of exploring while trying to avoid being found by security in areas we weren't scheduled to be in. Most of our work consisted of clearing out one of the main 3-storey office complexes of all the furnishings as it was planned for renovation. Some areas had significant water damage and had been unused (not sure which was first) for 5-10 years, judging by what remained lying around. It was easy to get turned around in some parts of the complex if you didn't keep track of where you had come from. We also set up collection and sorting areas in the aircraft hangars, which were full of old gear that had been palletised and then left there to be ruined by the weather that had worn its way into the buildings. Some of the spaces we found had an eerie WTF factor, but overall it was fairly tame compared to other sites I've been.
