Border stitching a custom leather handle. My client brought in a pair of leather handles he had laser cut by a mother vendor, requested to sew on a liner and add decorative stitching around the border and lettering. In this video I am sewing the border which will also affix the liner into place. Video taken and edited on my iPhone in my leather shop, located in Burlingame, California. Don’t for...

когда же такое , будет в россии , повсеместно ?
Это может произойти в любое время, я думаю
No laser!
Old school laser, metal
An inlay for a holster? One percenters.
Always glad to see other pagans doing their thing!
Thank you for your video. I collect old sewing machines 1880s and forward. Recently acquired a Singer 29-4. Haven't sewn leather before, but make and sell bed quilts and soft luggage. I would like to correspond with you.
Best Low budget effects ever!
There is literally nothing but bubbles there. Thanks for wasting my time as usual, nerd.
Do you stain before or after the laser process?
Can be done with or without stain applied
I....feel...this..is.....CHEETING!
I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE WIRED RIBBON USING MY BROTHER 1034d MACHINE. caN YOU HELP ME WITH THAT?
I haven't tried it yet but will try to make a video on this process
Nuh uh
What CAD software do you use?
Onshape and Fusion 360
@@agrariancraftsleather nice, same
I know this pain.
Удачи мастеру в нелегкос пути продвижения на площадке.
Danke
man you freaked me out. I didn't realize this short was playing and I thought my laptop was making weird noises
Whoops, sorry about that 😬
I wanna see a close up of those cutters!
How do I get some of those?!?
I just added them to my Etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/AC3DPRINTSBURLINGAME
People want sheaths for so odd knives...he must love to cook!
I get an interesting range of edged items including steak knives to kurkri blades, the basic machete, all needing sheaths. Reasons given range from self defense to just because they can.
Why? Why do you do this to yourself?!?
Living on the edge!….oh wait that’s an Aerosmith song. I think it’s because I like to push the limits unnecessarily haha
Love seeing your bible on your bench top Brother! Ready to make me a cover for mine?
I’m about ready to, I’m looking forward to making it. We’ll chat with more about this soon.
Great idea to prevent misaligned edges & the need to fix ... which then is no longer uniform if multiples are made.
I cannot tell you how many times Ive rewatched this thinking it was still going… because I don’t know the number it could be hundreds or just one
Same and I’m the one who recorded it 😑
it get 4 views
Up to 5 now 😎
Your so dramatic!
Trying to earn an Emmy over here
Let me know if you have any suggestions or requests for future video topics 😎
There are Models out there to directly print out of one of this Containers, maybe you like them even better?
There are a few available in repositories and I could easily create one in cad but that would take some time to print and use up filament. I found the trade off of purchasing containers vs printing them to be more favorable in this case. All of the hygrometer cases and desiccant containers are 3D printed however.
Looks like you have to change the desiccant in some of the filaments containers. 42%
@@kitesurfjerry a few of the spools had been sitting in the open for a while I ran the spools through the dryer and put recharged desiccant inside. It’s down to 10-12% across all of them now
Any way to put them in a large container and pull a light vacuum? Hobo freight has cheap vacuum pumps. Just thinking out loud. Then (1) hygrometer would do.
I considered this approach but went with the individual containers which allows me to pull and stage next to the printer I want to use (currently have 5 printers) and keep it sealed until it’s time to print.
Looking forward to more! Did not know you are in the same town my daughter lives in! Been following you for some time now, good luck! Im in Indiana.
Small world, I have a sibling currently living in Indiana.
Using machine is lasy....!😅
Where’s the cheeseburgers???
On the grill with thick slices of bacon, cheddar cheese and special seasonings of course 😎
@@agrariancraftsleather I’ll be right over.
Looking forward to more vids! Keep it up buddy!
Looking for my grey pet rabbit....missing for about a year. No sign of him...responds to name, "Bugs".
This one identifies as Stewy, can’t help ya
Isn't ...that...cheating?!?
Maybe 😉
Great idea, keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
Very cool idea!!
Glad you think so!
Nice work. Love the tool
Great video. A helpful suggestion, you might think about editing the audio. Your breathing is being picked up by the microphone, and there is a high piched humming sound. You must have a strong microphone! Good luck, great snap covering video!
@@claudesmoot1880 thank you for the feedback. The microphone on the iPhone certainly picked up a lot more background noise than I expected. The noise in the background turned out to be the cooling fan in the 3d printer almost 10 feet away.
@agrariancrafts5132 haha, yeah with that super mic, you might think about dubbing in some music.
Nice video, what was the biggest volume you cut in a day? Im wondering if its good for larger volumes. Thanks!
Most I’ve done in a single day was 200 straps. Most of the time I’ll cut out 15-25 straps in a session.
I just found one of these.... Do you still have the machine?... I can't figure out how the hook is supposed to work correctly timed.
I still have it, actually putting it up for sale soon since I haven’t used as I planned to when I first got it
neat machine
Sweet
Hello, i hate to bother but do you have the needle information available
Apologies for the delayed response. Needle is a 459-R (also known as EB x 1567 and 1567 needles)
Sew cool!
What is the purpose of running from one piece to the next? Why not just stop and complete the piece?
Producing more than one, efficient way to do a batch of the same stitches with minimal downtime. Process is known as chaining off or a daisy chain
