Hola @CarmenGonzalez-ql6ut gracias por ver nuestro video y agradecemos a Rey por recomendarnos. Como vives en Florida me imagino que la humedad aya es alta oh mas del 40%. Nosotros cultivamos en nuestro apartamento en el Bronx, NY. Adjunto abajao te daré mas oh menos lo que nosotros agamos con nuestra orquídeas. Ten en mente que tu ambiente, temperatura y demás pueda variar a nosotros, aquí va lo más importante: -Dependiendo de la orquídea siempre necesitas Luz 💡 alta, intermedia oh baja… sea natural, led oh al lado de tu ventana. -La circulación es muy importante y necesitas de un abanico dentro de tu casa oh la ventana abierta de tu apartamento para que circule el aire. Esto es para que regules el aire y que fluya y mantengas tus orquídeas sanas y que seque rápido y prevengas cualquier bacteria, hongos oh enfermedades en ellas. -El riego es importante como lo controlas dentro de tu apartamento y depende de la orquídea. Ahí unas orquídeas que no le gustan estár mojadas como las del Género de Cattleyas y otras un poco más húmedas como las Maxillarias. Nunca riegues por ejemplo a las Phalaenopsis por arriba ni por las ojas porque pueda que se te pudran. Ellas lla no está al interpreter para secar como lo hacen en la naturaleza. Riega bien tus orquídea por los lados un buen rato y después deja que drene bien y ponlas de nuevo en su lugar. Por ahora esto es lo básico, claro que también tienes que darle fertilizantes para ellas se alimenten y cuidado básico de sacarles las hojas 🍂 secas ect. Espero que esto te ayude un poco. Puerto Rico is the perfect climate for growing Orchids and Hoyas. The humidity, the daily rain showers and the perfect sunshine! Lixian has no problems with spikes and blooms. It is all year around. The only major problem would be hurricane season. They have to bring every single plant indoors to avoid damage. That's a lot of work.

An advice… remember to quarantine them for a while, just in case they may have any type of insect, bacteria or viruses 🦠. You don’t want your collection to perish. Hola @CarmenGonzalez-ql6ut, yo uso varios productos como el Sevin (no es sistemico), el Acephate, que es un preventivo (para los thrips/otros incectos y es sistemico, pero no es para el interior y lo uso con mucho cuidado) lo uso solo cuando empieza la temporada de primavera y verano ect. Tambien aplico otros para que la planta no coja resistencia al incecticida. Puede usar los productos que tenga al alcance y protejase al fumigar. Felicidades en su nuevo cambio de hogar y que disfrute mucho de Florida. Gracias por ver nuestro canal!

@@weluvorchids7928 yo usaba acephate pero el olor es muy fuerte para dentro del apartamento muchas gracias por tu ayuda.

@@CarmenGonzalez-ql6ut de nada, y si el Acephate huele bien mal. Tambien uso Jabon de cuava (Mi mama me recomendo esto por un consejo de su jardinero dominicano) diluido en agua. Yo le pongo media cucharadita por gallon de agua. ☺
