According to Melvin’s Memoir, this album was supposed to include “Holy Diver” by Dio until Pope John Paul II sent in a written request to have it removed. This was due to “Anticipated fears and repercussions” that the recording would have on the Catholic Church. It was a “what-if” that haunted Melvin until the day of his passing.
