This album reflects my experiences growing up in the 80s in the Tiffany Pines neighborhood of Fayetteville, NC.
Production Notes:
For this album, I drew inspiration from a variety of sources, including vinyl records, CDs, UA-cam, sample packs, and stock MPC sounds. All of these elements came together to shape the tracks.
The MPC One served as my primary sequencer, complemented by layered sounds from the Roland JV-880 and Yamaha Motif 6. Once the instrumentals were finished, I processed them through the SP-202 and finalized the mix using IK Multimedia’s T-RackS software.
