Hello! What kind of adapter you are using?
I was using the GIMX adapter. You can find it here gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page Its a arduino chip that is programmed by pc and then connected to the console. I originally built the adapter so that I can use the Logitech G27 Wheel on the PS4. Without the adapter the ps4 does not recognize the steering wheel and pedals. Sony purposefully made you have to purchase a new Wheel when the ps4 was released as they had an agreement to license the Logitech G29 as the only working recognized logitech steering wheel that would be recognized by the console. When the PS4 was released. If you wanted to use a Steering wheel not only did you buy the PS4 you had to purchase the G29 at 299.99 which was a slap in the face to previous model owners. I later realized that the adapter would also allow you to use a keyboard and mouse as what the adapter does is emulate the Wheel, Keyboard, and Mouse as a DS4 Controller. You don't need to purchase the adapter to do this anymore. The website listed below allows you to run the PS4 remotely to a PC and from there with in the application you can map your keyboard and mouse to emulate the DS4 over your lan network. tmacdev.com/

Thats the idea is that Im using a mouse and a keyboard but the console and the game servers think I am using a controller. I assure you all the movements in the game play shown where done with the keyboard and mouse however the playstation thinks the inputs are a controller. The buttons on the controller are mapped. Understand?

It is still mouse and keyboard mapped. It's called the gimx adapter. It's an Arduino pro micro chip plugged into a computer and it uses the mouse and keyboard from the PC to emulate a ds4 controller. Know what u are talking about before making dumb comments.
