2022 KTM RC390 walk around and start up.
The new addition to the garage. It is extremely fun, nimble and actually pretty fun in the gorge.
we have already added a Quick shifter, chain adjusters, supersport sprocket, and a few dress up pieces as well as a brembo rear brake reservoir. starting slow but this is my girls new bike. Waiting for them to develop a lowering kit for the new model for her.

i know this video is old but, do regular 2020 zx10r frame sliders fit the krt and version
All of this checks out and is all good and replaced, my injectors spray and the bike starts with starter fluid and it still don’t work
I had my fuel pump rebuilt and the issue I'm having now is that it's not making a lot of power when riding. I replaced the plugs, coil packs, battery, gas cap, stator and regulator, starter relay. Do you have any in sight on what it could be? Thanks
@@jasonshelton1743 it's hard to say without actually having the motorcycle to diagnose. What parts did you choose to rebuild the fuel pump? I don't typically recommend rebuilding the pump with cheaper parts from Amazon/eBay. I typically only like to see fuel pumps with OEM parts or sometimes quantum fuel pumps but even those have some quality issues.

Absolutely, this bikes a riot. Running some decent times and I have some other few really sick upgrades coming and I'll do a walk around very shortly! New wheels and I replaced the broken body work (although very minimal damage)

This is one time I'll let the rider off for what is usually bad throttle management. These first gen 2003-2004 600RR's were notorious for a bad throttle lag. Even though these bikes are still cable driven it was in the ECU that caused this lag. No amount of adjusting the cables would solve this. Go back to almost any of your previous corners and you will hear the throttle lag jerking and upsetting the bike causing you to run wide a couple of times. This was my single biggest complaint when I bought my '04 that drove me nuts until I bought a PC3. Recalibrating the TPS in the PC software completely removed the throttle lag. PCV's still work the same today.
It was mostly due to myself trying to drag elbow like a dipshit 😂 the bike was actually a lot of fun and at the time it was above my skill level to be trying to do this type of thing. It was fitted with a PCV and dynojet quickshift.
I have a 2016 KRT ZX10R done exhaust, filter, Dyno tune and I love it. Hopefully they don’t steal this one lol

How do you check whats at fault if no power is going to the bank angle sensor. my senario is no power at bank angle sensor so no power at kill switch relay connector and no power at lume plug that plugs into the fuel pump wiring. i have checked all the fuses and they all good
The bank angle sensor is upright correct?
With every kind of motor swap out there to this day Even a honda k swapped corvette is in existence. Im waiting for someone to honda Swap a Dodge Viper.

Not sure if you can help, but ive got a 2006 cbr600rr that turns on but experiences surging under acceleration. Changed all fluids, spark plugs/coils, air filter and removed the aftermarket components (full exhaust, pcv and quickshifter) but nothing has changed. Took flashlight to the tank and it looks filthy. Bike has 4200 miles on it and last owner told me its been a non op for 10 years. You think its worth buying a new sending unit?
YES!!! you described this bikes exact situation only it had 2,700 miles and was a 05. Buy a used oem good condition sending unit, get about 3 feet of very small chain from hardware store, and white vinegar. Dilute the vinegar slightly (or not at all and double up when purchased) pull sending unit. Put the chain in the tank w the vinegar and shake the fuck out of that thing for hours. That rust will get back into the system otherwise. My buddy actually jacked up his 4 wheeler and strapped the tank to the wheel and let it run like a dryer with the tank plugged, w the chain/ vinegar solution inside. The reason being all the rubber is now stiff and dry rotted, when you disassemble the sending unit it will crumble in places you didn't think were possible. More thank likely the FPR is rusted shut or close to it and the fuel level arm will be rusted in one place. I bought a used unit and it was perfect. I've had fuel pumps fail like you're describing above though as well. Good luck man

Did you replace the fuel pump and in that kit, did you replace the fuel pressure regulator
I found a used OEM one, I see quantum sells a kit w the FPR now I'd def go for that I think it's $10 more.

Great filters that being said I dont think you will get a lot more out of the race version. I do use the street PO8 and it was a huge step up after the K&N as I had to add 11% extra fuel but the 1-85 is not that much better flowing than the street version. My bike actually airbox limited being too small, I would check the air pressure drop in the box first with and without the filter.

They're a ton of fun and very capable. I love putting the hurting on my buddies 636 In the Twisties. All the OEM parts are on the website or KTMtwins.com is also supplies OEM parts. I deal alot with the local KTM dealer so I just told him I wanted all the extras before my gf took delivery. Did you have your Quick shifter turned on for the additional like 150 bucks?

Hey so I tested the pump and it primed but when I put the voltage tester to the other part it doesn’t jump. Do you know what to do to that?

It's a lot of work on a 600 but at the same time it will make tight sections on other tracks seem huge. But definitely fun in my opinion

Plz help lol..my bike is sputtering rode fine after half a hour then started bogging bad. yesterday didn't want to go past 5mph..today bogging at low RPMs but still has a little power ..when I got on it cutting in and out then it grabs and catches power as I go buy bogging badly .I had water in the gas when I checked made me check that because last summer she had water sitting around the rim of gas tank hole.. whole around the tank rim might be clogged..I put heet in there after draining old gas but still sputtering..may it be a fuel pump plugs or coils..maybe fuel filter idk ..don't have money to send to the shop I'm trying myself thanks.oh and I screwed up like 3 times and used 87 gas ..so idk what I'm facing here with the bike 2007 cbr 1000rr thanks man
I would definitely start by taking the tank out and checking that fuel pump if there was water in it and it was sitting for any amount of time at all honestly. So do you currently have 87 in it or no is it a higher octane? I would follow the advice in the video but if you have power to the fuel pump which it sounds like you do I would definitely check that out. Does the inside of the tank look Rusty at all?
@@turboxtcx thx for replying back..no it has 87 currently..and I haven't looked for any rust..I'm just in between putting a new pump ..and it has a pc3..not sure what's going on..didn't have much water only like 1 table spoon in a half if that..and check what out meaning ?
@@josecaraballo98 yeah first things first, pull that old gas out and put 93 in. It will still run rough as there probably is some water in the actual fuel line. If it's still acting up pull the pc3 off as this is a common issue with these older units. Power commander will even buy it back off of you and give you a discount on a pc5/pc6

They are powercup2's, although I keep getting recommendations to try out the new performance power cup tire in a 190 medium compound with a soft front so that will be my next set. I currently run about 1:42s I'd guess?

How did you clean out the tank rust? Did you reseal?
My gfs little hands and plenty of hours. 😂 I have since learned a cool trick, you have to take white vinegar and 3 ft of the thinnest chain you can find think pencil width. Seal the tank and shake the hell out of it for a couple hours

When I ride for about 30minutes and engine warms up my bike starts sputtering and won’t go over 60-70 MPH could this be a fuel pump issue?
It could be that the pump isn't working as the demand for fuel reaches above like 10k rpms. Try to see if it dies around a specific rpm range. It def could be
