That was a strong starting set of cards with Magician on the bonus! Good Previa backup strat. The treasure at 8:40, らいじゅうのたて, is Nue's Shield with PHYS+7, ELEC+14. I've pulled it on a PSX buried treasure but I wasn't sure about Saturn since it's bugged on SNES. Nice that's cleared up.

New timing rule to start after name entry lowers time to 3:37.034! I don't think we really need to time down to the frame but isn't any harder to when opening in a video editor. Ending on boss death sound is basically the same thing as 0 HP displayed.

I also like Sun wiping out the Gryphon. Probably speeds up the run by preventing its slow attack. I'd have been really nervous using Sun with a 0 ALI Opinion Leader but you must have tested it out!

So close to sub-1 hour! Is hard to keep Tower, Star, Sun and Fool distinct when rushing through Tarot cards in Japanese. I found random encounters increase based on the LUK stat of the leader. Moon on bonus card boosts Opinion Leader's LUK by the max of 7 for 57. I think that boosts the encounter rate +14%, being 14% higher than the base stat of 50. So max 100 LUK has double the encounter rate.

Hot Damn! GG! AH! 5 seconds - didn't test beyond 4 because you usually get one of the faster enemies wacking you near the town in SNES, but I guess the pathing in Saturn really is quite different. I love to be wrong when it comes to time saves!

Is Phantom Lord getting picked off by Diablo's Quake a real risk or can 206 HP survive it?

GG! It's possible to manipulate the seeds in this one, but the methodology would not be the same and it would be a little more difficult due to a bit of non-determinism that the CD reads add in. I'll try to get the tarot mapper scripts working so we can at least try to map the cards and see where the Notos pattern should fall.

Ah sweet first 2:3x! GG! Weirdly enough there's damage roles up to 132 with some cards which is kind of incredible. Almost 10 points higher than any other version. I highlighted a bad run on my twitch page that could have easily had a single extra hit kill 'em.
