To describe the beak/claw sign, you can say...'the remaining normal tissue is stretched peripherally and the stretched margins seem to engulf/partially encase the mass. Often the normal tissue shows normal pattern of enhancement compared to the mass it is encasing, which in turn appears hypoenhancing' i,e. the less enhancement you were trying to explain.
