i just convinced myself that i liked this game when i was 13 and finished it off. had fun!

I honestly have no idea how I ended up with my copy of the game growing up, but you hit the nail on the head. The Pichu Brothers were peak and even though I was a little too old for the "game", it was still mesmerizing in its own weird way.

I had this at my dad's house as a kid and I played it constantly, I loved going camping with them

Some people got this game unaware of what it was really like...I played it with a friend and then decided I wanted it. So, I don't know what that says about me, but it's probably not good. I haven't booted up my copy in ages, but I still have a lot of affection for it, even if I recognize that it is objectively not much of a game at all. Anyway, this was a really fun dive into the backstory of this game! Loved your rendition of the Pichu Bros. theme song at the end too lol.
