Ok so on a real motorcycle you can run along side the bike and get more speed which you will need if there is no hill. With all of those doillies hanging off the bike shown here it might not be possible... Really shocked you didn't run beside the bike and jump on dude. Sort of the ladies version I guess.

I currently ride a 2022 Harley forty eight, and i LOVE IT. I mean i see these other larger Harleys and i think they LOOK good, but I've tried riding them and it just does NOT feel as good as riding my 48. Now maybe if i was doing a LOT of long distance highway riding, i might feel differently about it and actually WANT a larger street or road glide, but for my local riding and only SOME "longer" distance riding, the 48 is perfect.

It looks like it usually happens when people try to do fubar . Never had it happen. It looks like they are purposely doing harmonic resonate?

Its a fantastic sportster, the 1200cc engine gives very decent torque sufficient to move off very quickly. An excellent city bike with 5 gears but probably not so good for interstate touring, understandably so too as the tank is small.

There are plenty of low mileage ones on the market so they're not hard to get. People are telling me that I should get something bigger as I'll probably only have this for a year until I want something bigger. For me though, I don't want to overwhelm myself in the beginning, lol. Wish I was riding where you are though because the roads here are very poor here (potholes) in eastern Ontario. So nice seeing you cruising around my old stomping ground 😊. Thanks again for posting such a great video. A little nervous about the tires now as I didn't know that issue before...

1985 Goldwing Interstate I have had a tank slapper. Anytime I plan on going for a longer run got about $2500 into repairs trying to figure it out. By watching this video I have figured out it is my cup holder mounted on the handle bars short runs I don't take a drink with me on long runs I do. Thank you for your video. Wobble alway accured about 40 mph. Will be removing the cup holder.

Here’s my take: the 883 have plenty of power…just that the 1200’s are more exciting. Prior to a rubber mounted engine, the handlebar risers sat in polymer bushings to quell vibes. Without the rubber mounting my hands catch vibrations from my sporty. Even my 2016 superlow 883 did that. I wish they would go back to the bushing system for the bars, especially for us young seniors. I love my iron 1200.

I went and test rode a 2023 Sportster S with only 800 miles on it. Have to agree and say the sound from exhaust well isn't great but HOLY COW that torque and instant low end power makes up for it. I come from sport bikes where as I am used to nimbleness and top speed. This has way more torque and grunt then my zx10r. While riding on the highway,, I had the bike in Sport mode, at around 70mph, and then I 'dropped 2 gears to disappear' and '"Pin it to win it!" and that torque about through me off the bike, lol. Instant smile for sure and laughing thinking Harley made this, wow. Go test ride one. If I get one I would for sure get an aftermarket exhaust and make it sound a bit louder and meaner. Plus also get an aftermarket front fairing, as that wind is brutle over 70mph.

Hi there, firstly thank you so much for the video, its really really helpful. I had a question in regards to 45 degree parking. When showcasing the parking, do we have to touch the curb at the end or stay slightly away from the curb? Please if you can help :)

People aren't objects and I certainly wouldn't toss a happy relationship with my wife away for something that might or might not treat me better. But I would buy another bike.

$17k on a new toy as a first bike buyer? Doubt you'd be willing to take risks associated with learning to ride and practice due to value of the bike. 1st bikes get marked up as u progress.Def not a first rode. And tho it's very impressive, the bike is bloated with unnecessary power, little tech to justify overly expensive cost.

I know this is an old video but I just wanted to add something. I see many people commenting on the sound. It is in fact different from other sportsters stock exhaust. I have a 2020 iron. I bought a used set of roadster slip ons off an eBay seller. If you look inside and compare the baffles you will see they are different. The roadster baffles have larger internal baffle holes and are spaced differently than the stock iron pipes. The sound is so much better. I have videos comparing them. 🤘🏻

Is there any way to make it so just the halo is on during daytime? I have a 2000 883 and am about to order one of these but i wish just the halo would be on but my day light is low beam like yours so idk how you can do it if at all. Thanks for the video. I think u just convinced me to get it

Been Riding since 1965 had just about every motorcycle on the road, been in a VN Vet mc club and I just bought a XL 1200 L. Amazing Bike want to get off a plow horse and have a little pony for around town and it doesn’t disappoint

The Buell Super Cruiser is a small bitch bike. If you want a tiny 450lb bike get a Sportster with a revolution max.
