So nostalgic, I loved this place. Recently found out it's originally from Murfreesboro TN and got to visit the original location the other day. The memories came rushing back! The food and decoration style was exactly the same as I remember, as a Mason OH native. Also that's definitely a karaoke track of Fun Fun Fun by the Beach Boys in this commercial.

This was, hands down, the BEST kept secret probably in the whole world. Life at The Colony Beach was what you could imagine complete freedom is like. As soon as you got to the guard gate, you magically left all worries behind… I always wanted to somehow rebuild it and keep it just the way it was. It did need more of the city’s and counties help to hold the individual owners financially accountable to maintain what was perfection. The way they handled the property management just wasn’t tough enough on the individuals as well… Someday I’ll find a place like it, but it just won’t be the same. longboat key is such an amazing destination, but upscale hotels and places like the key club always felt wrong. That’s why I never ran into Pete Sampras or Björn Borg, John McEnroe, Steffi Graf at those places. We were all living the dream at The Colony Beach. I’ll never forget that distinct smell when you’d walk into Barefoots❤

Played his records over and over... Got his autograph at a local mall in the 1970s. Saw him at a small bar/nightclub the 1980s, standing too close to the amps, right at the stage so that afterwards all that summer my ears rang, lol ... 35 years later saw him again at The Whitaker Center in Harrisburg, PA. Good memories!

This was during the middle of the COVID Crisis. It was a difficult time for everyone. Watching Todd’s Concerts on my IPad was such a pleasure and comfort after my husband passing from Brain Cancer. Todd and his talented band and singers have lifted so many up over the years. LOVE IS THE ANSWER!!
