You are making great thing bro keep it up
Love these kind of videos, subbed
jason’s take on work culture is amazing! congratz on not fearing being controversial
2h ago i was driving home form a client and thinking about something like this with exactly those features. then suddenly this poped up. Can youtube read my mind! ? :o
nice, eating openfaas' lunch. Been using it in some projects, good tool.
very cool, when are the self-host docs going to be ready?
the audio is not good, can't follow the interview
will edit out those sections and reupload!
Fantastic content.
Thank you for watching Daniel!
I tried this app just now but it still needs work. Hope you will get there.
Nice video great initiative 🎉
wow
First
this is the stuff that gives us motivation to keep learning and improving our skillset
wow so happy to hear this, thank you for sharing! really motivates us to keep working for you - we'll be uploading a lot more videos like this!
nice
Hi guy Maybe I please ask that you do a video on how to download the software for personal use. Thanks in advance

is the font name dank mono ?
Open source tv uses one of the very few closed source browsers. Bravo!
i respect your input but come on open source isn't a religion, let the man use the tools he enjoys
He also uses macOS and who gives a fuck. He has most definitely contributed to more open source projects than you. Touch grass nerd
nice terminal/vim mine looks similar and nice video!
I loved how his terminal is translucent, super nice when livestreaming webdev I think
More please. I am thinking of trying out Rust myself, but love Scala too much to put the time in if it's not as powerful in terms of high level features
+1 im in the same path. And after getting comfy with typelevel stack, everything outside of fs2 sucks
I am not experienced in Rust, but the guiding principle of Rust seems to be safety for system level (meaning low level, OS level) tasks with performance to match c and c++. Scala and Spark would win in distributed performance. So, pick your hammer accordingly.
Definitely checking this out, great work!
Thank you Ilyass 🤩 Excited to see you on Algora!
I hope people can start living off of bounties
That’s the goal!! 😍🚀
seems like a great idea I'll check it out
we’re excited to see you join, thanks! you can reach us on discord discord.gg/QdbaTSxz or twitter x.com/algoraio if you have any questions or feedback!
This is awesome, what a great idea 🫡
Thank you Dylan! Hope you join our community 🫡
just learning elixir and find this video, thank you so much! Can I ask for the pricing if I deploy on fly with 1000 viewer and 100hrs a month?
they will be successful whatever the idea is.
100%
Looks awesome! Going to try it!
Happy you discovered it!
Looking forward to more of it!
Loved it, man! All the best.
Thank you Ayush! are you sharing new videos yourself soon? :)
hey guys i also want to do this type of contribution but i dont know how to fill the gap between the knowledge i have and what is required to do so. can you bring the video about this ..?
Great series! I am looking forward to seeing more.
Thank you! We're super excited ourselves :)
Thank you for this algora!
thank you for watching! Aiden is the youngest OSS founder on the podcast, just 19 years old! 🤩
Really good intro to Turso and what to expect from it. I like it.
Thank you for watching and sharing your reaction! 😊
Thank you for being honest about the hard truth about working in tech, Michele - ua-cam.com/video/JHd_hbFkU40/v-deo.htmlsi=mAQmLx0P-zIsQWk_&t=1442 - I also 100% agree with the fact that there is no substitute for doing the work and being curious. I still believe open source is an amazing vehicle for learning everything related to working in the technology space. It covers everything from the technical aspects to the soft skills including project management and communication skills.
Thank you!
So I just found this through UA-cam recommendations and I truly believe the points you made about devrel, thanks for your great insights, developers now just don't have that self encouragement they used to, and this is something i always cover in my channel for personal encouragement and building hope. I'll be leaving a sub and like bye.
If linus doesnt break your will to write code again, you are primed to accomplish anything ig haha
Awesome podcast. Mr. glauber is the ultimate chad linux kernel contributer, inspiring af.
“ultimate chad linux kernel contributor” this should be the video title 😎
Wow. I was looking for an open source personal finance app. This looks to have a good functionality, modern UX combo! Gonna self host and try it out.
💯 there’s been a rewrite of the app in Ruby on Rails, bet you’ll like the new design too!
Thank you for having this conversation! After 10 years being a filmmaker, I'm in the midst of a career pivot into development myself, and conversations like these are so inspiring to me to keep going. I love seeing that people are able to find meaning and community amongst developers. Congrats Daniel on following your dreams and having the courage to do what you felt called to do!
🥰 congrats for taking the leap & best of luck in your new career! bet your filmmaking background brings a fresh creative flair into your work ✨
Very intriguing, might have convinced me to watch the full vid 🔥
you founded agora didn't you
He probably didnt, but is used as a advertisment for this site
happy user sharing their story! 😇
Great interview with a great person I had the great pleasure of meeting in person! Super intelligent, big heart and someone you literally want to talk to for hours on end. An inspiration to us all, IMO. Thank you, Daniel!
Awesome as always
Thank you for coming back! 😊
Wonderful conversation! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching! 😻

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🙏
Awesome podcast. Algora podcasts deserve more attention and views
Nicely done folks! Rock on.
I love this so much. I especially appreciate Peer's take on hiring and how to pay people fairly. This should be the default across the globe and across companies.
Wow great product!
THIS IS PRETTY COOL!
thank you! 🙏
