I had a zipline between my base and my hive members base, when we first built before we moved for joining a thermal tower. Someone placed off to the right between our ziplines IN the water, somewhere it didnt look like someone could build before, and built up a wall that destroyed the ability to zipline between the bases. So I placed several of the loud speakers and had them all playing different songs. They took down the wall, I took down the speakers.

Did you try switching to a different world on your server and simply hitting B then Z to instantly rebuild in the same place on a separate instance?

So... not to be that guy... but... Why didn't you find a world where there weren't two neighbors up against the spot you want to build at? I mean, they were established in that spot, and you barged in between. What he's done was petty... can say nothing against that... but you were wrong to build between... even worse to complain about it while showing what you did. You sound like a nice enough guy, so I don't understand why you didn't look at other worlds and consider other people's spaces before wedging in... (even if you built up and not out - the build looks nice, btw!) This was part of the mess of "prime spots" in the first 2 seasons of Manibus (before Way of Winter) instead of building in such a way as to maximize how many could benefit from the 1 area that gave both oil and acid... people plopped their house down at odd angles, trying to bar access. Some folks just don't want others living right next to them for one reason or another... this much is evident when you go driving around and find a random house in the middle of nowhere.

the way i see it he/she has the right to build inside their own territory and they were there first after all. if you do not like it simply move after all you said yourself that it's not blocking you off.

Its your own fault for playing on a PVE server. PVE servers arent without PVP, they just force you to be more creative.

First descendant was way too dam repetitive and no pvp shit gets stale so fast. I dont see that game going anywhere, and the population dropoff on that game is expected

I wouldn't do anything, it's a game at the end of the day, + getting you mad is what they are trying to do so don't play into it. dose it suck? yup 100% but there is no point in getting mad over it.

well even in pvp server u wouldn't be able to do anything about it , (unless he purify chaos cortex then u can wipe his base and get all his loot ) . but be careful placing you base near tower of players you dont know ,they can just relocate their bases when u offline and start purification and let you base get raided .

i'd put up whispers in annoying places where he needs to click, if you can find them

Me and my neighbor last scenario kept building stuff to copy and or annoy each other. We never spoke or interreacted with one another but every day for 2 weeks we would try to one up the other. It ended with him taking pictures inside my base (sleeping on my bed, using my tub) and he hung them up in huge frames at the front of his house the next day. When I saw that I made a music video of me dancing around in his house and sent it to him. Most fun I had in the game so far.

I would either move if you're unhappy with it. Or I would thank him because he's blocking you. And it may give you more protection from the chaos weavers

Bro some people are just toxic for no reason. I have a story that will make your heart sink. I used to play a game called Atlas. It is ark survival but with pirates. Ofc i was playing pve because in pvp that game was brutal. You could loose 10 hours of work in few sec if you fall in a trap of other players. Even on pve some stuff was taking time to be done right and beautifully. Like my Brigantine ship. I had hours of work on that ship making it look like a piece of art. Everyone who was looking my ship had only compliments about it. At that period i was working in my job 10-12h shifts so you understand my life was work come back home have a bite play couple hours Atlas and go to bed. At one night i was treasure hunting attacking npc towers which they had gold loot. At that night we all had this you suddenly cant keep your eyes open you just want to drop dead to your bed. The game had a mechanic you had to wait 15minutes till you make sure your ship is secured for the log off because it remains there after that. I was waiting 7-8min and i said ok....what can go wrong in 8 minutes?? So i log off. Next day i return to find my ship wrecked...all these hours of work gone. What happen is in these 8minutes another player must passed by seen that my ship isnt protected yet so he aggro the towers and hid behind my ship. So the towers was bombing my ship trying to get him. Why? Because he could i guess. Just a toxic soul i guess. So yea i return to my base and made new one knowing even in pve some people are just sad souls so i was more careful. Ps. You asking what you would do in this situation. You move on. As i said these people are sad souls. Something is going on in their life that isnt happy and they emit that even in gaming. The more attention you give to that they more they get attached to their behavior because thats how they get your attention. I forgot to say in my case my neighbors some guys from US felt so bad on what happen they all drop in bringing me gifts for my new brigantine. New better cannons better stronger walls n sails. All these guys helped me to build a new much stronger ship and with bit personal work more beautiful ship than before. So in games there always good guys and sad guys. I like the way you respond to him with kindness and respect even if you done nothing wrong to him. If this remains my friend just pack your stuff and start over. Im sure there will be a better place for you and your girl to build an even better base. Do not let 1 guy consume your peace. Im sorry for the huge script and my bad english grammar but i hope you find a solution soon :)

I would take screen shots and report him. I did it during Manibus hard mode on someone that had 20% of his base inside mine! I dont understand why people have to troll on every game. Go to rust and do that shit, leave us alone!

Probably 1 of the many pvp server players that switched to pve for Way of winter. The hills are annoying for building with the building jank. If you truly think he's being a jerk then retaliate with nothing less than scorched earth. Build a wall as high as possible across the whole border. You can even hang large portraits on the wall to leave messages/taunts. Border wall!!! 😂

I feel like this was just a huge misunderstanding. From a practicality stand point. The best way to protect your resource facility during tower purification is build it as far away from possible enemy spawn points, and even better if it's next to a mountain, because monsters are less likely to spawn there. But that extended foundation is definitely out of spite, likely due to being questioned of what he did with his oil farm.

This is not Sims dude. Don't want to sound like a jerk,but this is a seasonal game,with short seasons. No need for RP. I play with friends in a hive,build beside each other for comfort. But I know nobody in game,who's trying RP in this game, that's not the point of this game

Build your dream home in Eternaland. You seem to be really attached to your base but there's zero reason in scenarios; your base will be gone in 6-8 weeks. Not only that, your base is next to a thermal tower and you've got no defenses. When purification happens, you could just see your base completely destroyed by npcs. So far, the only bad neighbor I see is you. On one hand, you claim the neighbor has a right to do whatever they want on their base - but on the other hand, you're upset with what they're doing on their base. If you're asking your neighbor to do something and you get upset because they refuse, you're not really asking as much as you're demanding.

maybe did build that way because mobs spawned inside base ( i did have problem ) and build side of plot fixed that problem so no more destroyed boxes and stuff because that

We had something similar happen to a friend of mine on our Manibus server. The guy was bullying her. He would block her entry with his base, she would move, and he would move to follow. Eventually, we got her to move to a place that was more open. Our hive then moved around his base after he moved in, and we built up solid walls all around his base five stories high with no doorways. This forced him to teleport in and out, and because we had her move to the farthest point of the map, and he was a casual, it began costing him all his energy links just to go out and do things. After four days, he moved away and we actually hadnt seen him again on the server after that before all of us went to a WoW server.

of all the places that's poluted he choose to build that infront of a beautiful house for an alt account base. i'd say you troll him back! i would have the decency to at least build a gap.

Basically he's trying to grief you off his tower so he can have your spot for his friend/hivemate. If he was intending to help you, I'm sure he'd communicate with you a lot better than the cold shoulder and blocking you off from access. Like you said, he built that building after you built yours and is trying to block you from using your water pumps.

Perhaps he is trying to keep his most valuable base parts as far away as possible from the tower, since that's where tower mobs will spawn.

when i first started playing this game everyone was nice, respectful, and helpful, but now in way of winter i'm coming across a lot of trolls leaving post to get you killed or even ppl like this guy. ugh

He put up double reinforced walls, that is why it is totally sealed in. He is prepping for purifying the tower or the base. I do this with my base in sealing it in. It takes longer to tear down and with the next phase coming it is likely why he did that as the chaosweavers will be attacking from what I heard. If that is the case his base is protecting yours, lol. Great design you have but the practicality of it is poor as its open to everything to attack it. Anything above his house will be an easy target on your base. I would put up a wall or double wall it on that side. Let his take the hit first then yours. Even put up some annoying print on his side. lol.

I feel its short sited on your part. Playing WW and understanding people might want to snapbuild to my tower I designed my base so that my steps didn't come out to the side of my property. In fact I was more annoyed when someone built near me but they didn't snap to the property line, they later fixed it. Just remember when you snap to a territory you can't rotate how it's snaps, that's the real problem with this game
