A late comer to the great outdoors and Munro bagging. I didn’t bag my first Munro until 2017 when I was 44. Now loving the journey of trying to summit all of Scotland’s 282 Munros. I’m on 99 as at July 21!
My first video was Buachaille Etive Mor and loved the end product and continue to make a wee video for each outing. They provide a great wee memento of a great day out. You don’t realise how special a moment in time is until it becomes a memory! My videos help capture this memory. If it inspires others to get out and about then that’s an added bonus! Thanks for watching !

An adventure
Great traverse, completed 12ish times both ways of course, but the scene of one of the saddest Mountain Rescues 😥
Great memories Andy.
@@RZVPeter it is indeed mate. A top day in the hills!

Hey mate, Andrew here from Aussie Andrew’s Adventures haha I’m thinking of coming over to do Snowdonia (Crib Goch) and then Scottish Highlands - just stumbled on one of your videos so gonna go through tbem to get some ideas. If I come over, we could join up for the odd adventure - I’m looking at summer haha
Well done guys thanks for sharing .
Thanks you pamie!😊
Brilliant Andy. Well done lads. 👏 Nice of you to team up with Frank. Nice drone footage. I've been saving these for a while. Was gonnae camp on them last year. Didnae fancy walking in the heat. A day like your day wid be perfect. Hopefully in a 2 wks.
Cheers Kev. Really long day but very rewarding! We were lucky with weather! Hope you get a decent day as would hate to do this in bad weather! Cheers and ATB! Andrew 👍
A classic ridge traverse captured very well great footage cheers
Cheers Andrew ! Was a cracking hike!
What a day for the South Glenshiel Ridge Andrew 😮 cracking views 🏔️🏔️🏔️ sunshine ☀️ and a cooling breeze 🌬️ did you book that in advance along with the Air BnB 😂 fantastic vlog and Peter's drone footage was exquisite 👌 so nice after all the hard work to sit and think 🤔 while your enjoying a cold cider 🍺 that's another 7 done 💪 Superb mate atb Brian 👍
Cheers Brian. Was perfect conditions for this hike. Not too cold and not too hot. I would book weather like that all the time if I could! 👌 Peter’s drone shots were top and even better I didn’t have to carry it all day. Thanks for watching and ATB! 👍
Claggy mc clag face. Nice one Andy. Cleared up a wee bit at the end. You'll be taking the clag man title fae Tam. 😉Nice pint at the end 😋
Awesome video Andrew. Well done to you and the guys on bagging 7 munros. Loved the drone footage. ATVB Alan
Thanks Alan. Was a very long but rewarding day. And to bag 7! Very satisfying! Cheers 👍
Brillaint mate. Class video. Another 3 in the bag. Well done to you all. ATVB Alan
Cheers Alan 👍
Enjoyed that Andy 😍👌🏻..Quite fancy doing those ones..The old clag is such a pain..Enjoyed your chat during the hike 😍..That cider looked bloody good 🤣..Great video mate. Cheers Murchie
Cheers Murchie. This was a good one. Shame we were in the clag but had great views the next day doing the 7. Cheers again and thanks for watching! 👍
@@andrewsadventures5747 😁👍
Great video.Andrew. The drone shots really showed off the ridge. You really Jason Bourned those munro's 😂. ATB Andy
Cheers Andy. By the time I went to bed I certainly didn’t feel like Jason Bourne! I was done in! Was a great day in the hills! Cheers and thanks for watching! 👍
Another 3 done Andrew well done i have been wanting to do these for a while now but every time i set of to do them the weather changes so end up going else where , looks a cracking walk along the ridge hopefully get them done sometime soon. Atb Ally 👍👍
Cheers Ally. I really enjoyed this one. I wasn’t too bothered it was in the clag. Was so peaceful up there . No wind. No rain and quite mild. Very atmospheric! Got the views the following day in the Glen Shiel 7. Cheers and thanks for watching! 👍
Still a good hike Andrew, was half expecting you to bump into the clag man Tam up there😂😂 Pity you didn’t get the views as there spectacular. Next day made up for it tho.
Exactly Frank. Was actually quite atmospheric walking in the clag ! Next day made up for it! Cheers 👍
Well done on those 3 Andrew, shame about the clag. When Paul and me did these, it was clagged in to start with but cleared by the 2nd munro. That 2nd Cairn is a bit of a monster as well? ATB Andy
Yeah sure is Andy, a bit of a lofty perch for the 2nd, Not a place to hang about as there were other folk about. Not too bothered with the clag as got superb views the next day for the Glen Shiel 7. Cheers and thanks for watching.
Brilliant Andrew, enjoyed your take on our day👍 was a long but very enjoyable hike and we struck gold with the weather.👍 Till the next time mate, Adios ATB Franko
Cheers Franko. Yeah was a great day. Pity I felt like shit that night. I think my body was trying to tell me something! 🤣
Cracking to see Frank's and your videos of this walk Andrew! Its an absolute cracker and you captured it brilliantly 😊. Those skies looked brooding all day and i couldn't make up my mind if it looked cold or not? Better views than the Brothers ridge and some cracking drone shots from Peter! Nice one mate and well done on another 7 in the bag 😊. Paulo
Clag, clag and a wee bit more clag Andrew! Thats a real pity but it looked like you enjoyed it all the same! The second munro is a cracker and the views normally from that cairn are pretty special! The way its perched right on that ridge. Aw well never mind, at least the cider was nice and clear 😊. Paul
That was good Andrew! Well done 👏
Cheers mate. And thanks for the top drone shots! 👍👌
Amazing Andrew, That was some 1st wildcamp mate. You struck gold, I'm glad you enjoyed it mate brilliant 👏
Cheers Tam.was a belter! Im sure not all wild camps are like that! 🤣
Can look and feel very different ...and even a little frightening with full snow cover...and less than 100 metres visibility..with the wind speed turned up a wee tad ..... ...but thats the Cairngorms..... memories of those good days!!
Nice day out. Did this route many years ago in similar blustery conditions. I genuinely don't understand the use of poles on a route such as this though, to my mind they just make it more dangerous.
I see your point but I felt the poles were more of a help on the downs than they were of a hinderance on the ups
Wow, what a superb 1st wild camp. The views were amazing, and waking up to that cloud inversion ❤. Chilling out in the evening with some DMF 😊. Great video Andrew. ATB Andy
Cheers Andy . If I recall correctly you like your DMF too don’t you? It went down a treat with those views. Cheers and thanks for watching. 👍
@andrewsadventures5747 Yes, very partial to a bit of DMF spiced.
Amazing location for a camp, great video 👍👍
Superb Andrew - not the worst place for a wild camp and temp inversion - you had me at Rum! Stoater....🙏🙏
Cheers Dave. A very enjoyable and memorable first wild camp! Thanks and ATB . Andrew 👍

Steamers 😂 Cannae beat the 80s chooons. What a first wild camp. 😎👌 You'll find the more ye dae it, the lighter your gear will get. Always fancied a camp up there. Cracking sunset, even better in the morning 😍
Cheers Ken. My pack was a whopping 18kg! 😩 but manageable for this shortish hike. Brilliant experience!
Well done Andrew and Brett.U have done something I have never done before with a cracking 1st wildcamp.😎👏 Lost count how many times I have done Ben Donich but the conditions u got were amazing. The sunset was unbelievable and when u got up in the morning to that inversion........wow.😮😮 That timelapse with the 2 jets was superb over The Cobbler. When u were packing ur gear away, I was heading up Narnain,Ime, and the Cobbler and caught the inversion on the 1st summit on Sunday morn. Deffo one of the best vids u have posted Andrew.😎👏👏☁️☀️☁️
Cheers Andy. Was a cracking hike and really enjoyable wild camp. Amazing conditions. When we left at 8 it was so nice walking above the clouds! I was lucky with the 2 jets! Really good hill this one and superb view points! Thanks for watching and all the best Andy. 👍

Cheers and thanks for watching! This was a cracking hike! 👌
Nice one Andrew. A good walk that one but shame about the weather. I did the Cobbler along with Beinn Ime and Beinn Narnain. It was clagged in, blowing a gale and raining for the whole walk. Brightened up as i was nearly down 🤣ATB Andy
Ha ha yeah sometimes thats how it goes! Sun splitting the skies when you are near the end after being clagged in on the summits! 😩Cheers for watching Andy! 👌 ATB Andrew
