I have a 4 1/2 yr old female and a 3 month old male. They play just like this but, when the male gets too excited he starts to jump on the female. Then she gets mad and starts to play rougher and hold him down, then he starts to play rougher - now we have a "disagreement," if you know what I mean. These terriers (I had an Airedale that was the same), they will play but, if the other dog starts a fight then OK, lets fight. I wouldn't have any other dogs - Airedale or Welshie. Welshies are super smart yet can be very loving. They get better with age. Just taught my oldest to "leave it" while I throw a toy for the young one. Impulse control is one of the hardest things to train in these dogs.

I had a Lakeland Terrier many years ago and what a little character he was. 😆 After my dad, he thought he was next in the pecking order, above me and mum. 😆 I also love the Welsh and Airedale terriers. They are all similar in many ways. Beautiful looking breeds. 👌🤗🐕

I have a cairn and 2 scotties. They love to wiggle through tight spaces like the boxes in the attic. Just using their ratting skills I guess.
