I normally rent a canoe when I come to this park but we are currently in the off season so canoe rentals are unavailable. The jon boats and paddle boats are available for rent year round.
Today we decided to rent the jon boat and paddle our way around the Lee Hall Resovoir.
I also couldn't help but get a drone eye view of the park which is shown in the second half of the video. I've been here many times and this was my first look from above. 🤭
Newport News Park is HUGE and there is so much to do! I recommend this park to anyone traveling through the Hampton Roads area of Virginia it will not disappoint.
