Ian Canada does a clock upgrade on Denafrips Ares 12-1 DAC ..brings it up to a DAC that costs multiples of the original ….abd yes, we’ve talked …and it’s definitely on my list 😊

GM ☕️🍩 The A6 was a “must buy” …followed by the A8 …another “must buy” ….followed by the “Master Series “ and upgraded power supply ..and now the latest A10 …that’ll have “must buy “ ..along with the matching Eversolo Power Amplifier… And I’m sure they’ll put out a Pro A10 with a separate chassis power supply and a few other things . Screens on streamers are passe’ ..you’re going to use your phone or tablet running a control app ..and the app is the key. My advice to people who want to get into audio streaming .. Wiim Pro and a Denafrips DAC ..and you’re done . Both can be had for a fraction of what they want for this latest edition from Eversolo ..and I’m sure they’ll sell a ton of these A10’s A great app ,decent gear and a dedicated DAC …enjoy the music .

I have an A8 that I upgraded with a Beatechnik LPS-A8 power supply. I recently moved the A8 to my secondary system and have been looking at the A10 as a replacement in my primary system. In this price range a crossed-shopped competitor is the HiFi Rose RS150B. Both have very similar features and capabilities and are are using Sabre DAC's. Anyone have any thoughts on the sound signature differences?

Hey there, just as some feedback, I found the constant back-and-forth vocal reactions to be very distracting to the video as they add nothing really and the subject matter is already interesting. Also, chemical reactions dont produce nasty side effects like you mentioned in the podcast. Storing energy electrochemically isnt any worse than storing it electrostatically, they are simply different. Using batteries for power production is always going to be cleaner than connecting to an AC supply. The power conversion from AC to DC as well as voltage regulation will inevitably add some noise as will everything else on the power lines. Also, theres nothing between the capacitors and the power input of the DAC? How can Ian achieve a constant voltage on the supply? Does it switch between the two capacitors or is the pair for a dual rail supply? How come it doesnt need vregs? I ask these questions but I dont really doubt it would have an impact on sound quality.

Also... No headphone cables

Well i run a headphone system so i only need RCA cables between the amp and dac and those cables alone are worth twice as much as my entire system. Hard to believe that outlay will be in any way worth it.

I ran 2 dedicated lines from my power board with Gigawatt in wall cables running into QSA Violet power points, great upgrade

Great sound the D10x is an absolute incredible player one of the best on the market today..

i heard these speakers at Ascot last year, with Gryphon amplification. Very impressive. Mind you, the whole system cost about £1m roughly, so you'd expect it to sound good. I can only imagine how much better it would sound in a living room, with the kit finely tuned to the room... I'll never know. :^D

for the price the Silver 500 7G are unbeatable. there is simply no better speaker under 2500 $ / pair.
