I wanted to try this, but Mac OS 9 got stuck installation at 3 minutes, even if i turn off the Update Apple Hard Disk Drivers.

What software did you use for each era?
From SS1 to early SS 7.1 I used Mini vMac, then Basilisk II and Sheepsaver until around MacOS 9, then QEMU PPC for the rest! Hope this answers your question.

What software is used for Mac emulation?
I am guessing Minivmac for Mac OS 1 to Mac OS 7.5.5. Sheepshaver or basilisk II for Mac OS 7.6 to Mac OS 9.0.4. Qemu for Mac OS 9.1 and onwards.
@@windowsfan95 Correct, however for some of the earlier OSX7 betas I had to use Basilisk as they were only available as CDROM releases. Oh and then I had to keep switching between the two as some didn't run or they were released via floppy only...

a few title cards which MacOS we're seeing would have really helped, you zip through the installers so fast that it is extremely hard to make out the differences

@@Win_Ultimate it does but when you are watching a UA-cam video and only have control of the one channel you can not turn down the volume of just the back ground music you have to turn down the entire thing so the ratio of loud music to somebody talking doesn’t change. Many UA-cam videos ruined
be careful all beta build has timebomb mean you can't boot into os you must change the date before using it
dont worry, i did revert date in bios settings
