I still prefer CCFL tubes over LED lights. LED strips are lame.... You need a diffuser but you can still see the individual LED's That's why my future ps4 pro case mod will get CCFL tubes instead of LED lighting. Just like I did back in the day with my ps2 case mod. We didn't even have LED strips back then.😂 And CCFL tubes give a nice and uniform glow. You can't change colors with a remote but it sure does look better! is anyone still doing CCFL case mods with game consoles these days? I know from experience it was very popular in the early 2000's. But when I google CCFL neon mods on ps4 and ps5 I can't find any.😅 I can find clay sculptures built around those consoles but that's not my thing. Neon mods are way cooler imo!😁 My ps4 pro will get blue and pink CCFL tubes.

Lightships (before they were replaced by spars or a large buoy) were equipped with two mushroom anchors tethered to a single chain with a swivel and back into two chains (one of each port) unless one port, centred in the bow. Why does a have two anchors? because winds ad tides change in opposite directions north or south of the equator.. Should the wrong anchor be ley down first, then the anchor chains would cross-over when wind or tide changes. Crossed chains nullifies the purpose of two anchors holding-together, diminishing the holding power even of a single anchor 'down'.

The Longer the length of the chain or rope the greater the elasticity, avoiding jerking the line. the same principle applies when a tug or another ship has a ship in tow. Chains are made to stretch. its all apar of the engineering.

Rocky saga movies are one of my favourite, if not my favourite movies of all time and i have my uncle to thank for introducing me to Rocky 1 , 2 and 3 (all started with Rocky 3 Movie actually then I watched them all over and over again, countless times) throughout my childhood all the way up to now, where im in my mid 30's (35 today to be exact) and still enjoy watching them , especially if i want to get motivated and inspired again. However ffs just let it go. Rocky movie saga ended in the best way and there is no need to make another Rocky movie as it wouldn't make sense , because you can correct me if I'm wrong here, but If i recall on creed 1 or 2 , Rocky said himself that he was diagnosed with cancer, so if they made it so Rocky wouldn't survive the cancer and wrote Rocky out of the creed movies then how can there be another Rocky movie if he was supposedly got terminal cancer or told creed he doesn't want no help or cure for his cancer if he could survive it? Just leave it alone now ffs , because this is only going to spoil the whole Rocky saga movies Franchise. It's not necessary to make another Rocky movie. Drago lost to Rocky in Rocky 4 end of , no need to make another pointless Rocky movie where drago beats rocky, Rocky won for a reason for his friend Apollo and Apollo's legacy , also to get revenge on drago for killing Rocky's friend Apollo in the ring.

This isn't even a conspiracy. There is a litteral contractual agreement between companies that state they can't make light bulbs that last too long. There is a whole building dedicated to testing how long light bulbs last so that the companies can make sure none of them are breaking their contract.

He said that their used to be metal rods in all linkages to open doors and lock them etc.. then they put plastic connectors in that were designed to get brittle after five years. That is why your piece of crap American big corp machine falls apart right after you get it paid for. This is why Toyota demolished the US car market becaus epeople were fed up. I love mechanical clocks and watches. In a world of people using their phones to tell time, they have a refreshingly old school beauty to them. I think grandfather clocks in particular really add something to a home. The sound alone is wonderful. I grew up with a Ridgeway grandfather clock that my parents still have and I myself purchased a Pearl grandfather clock from the 80s last year. It's been such a great addition to my house. I also have my mom's old cuckoo clock in a different part of the house since I grew up with that amd she didn't really keep it running anymore.

A lot of what you say is just wrong: 1) If the clock's energy is derived from weights and gravity, then the empty space within the wooden frame or box in which the clock is placed isn't just for show, it's meant to allow the weights to gradually fall as they pull the chains or strings attached to the gear train, much in the same way a wall clock with weights needs empty, unobstructed space below it for the weights to fall. Only in the case of a spring-driven grandfather clock would the frame be mostly decorative. 2) Though obviously a pendulum adjusted to perform a full swing in a second would make it easier and simpler to design the gear train around 1:60 and 1:12 ratios between the different gears, it's neither necessary, nor universal. There are plenty of clocks with pendulum that don't swing once every second. The only change this makes is on the gear train to convert the swings into hourly rotations. 3) I don't know where you got that the anchor escapement of pendulum clocks is universally more accurate than the balance wheel escapement of mechanical watches. What's required is a regular swinging motion, and balance wheels can do that just fine. Just ask any old navy veteran about the marine chronometers they used to use on board ships to calculate their longitudinal position. Those had the same kind of escapement of regular pocket or wrist watches, only far more precise and mounted on a special casing to protect it from the weather and the ship's movements. From Wikipedia: "These technical provisions usually yield timekeeping in mechanical marine chronometers accurate to within 0.5 second per day." 4) At 5:17 you said "the heavier the weight and gears, the longer the power reserve". The weight of the... weights... has nothing to do with how long the clock's power reserve lasts, that's determined by the rotations of the escapement, the frequency of the oscillations and, in the case of these types of clocks, the height the weights are falling from. How heavy they are only depends on how much energy is needed to push the pendulum and keep it swinging. Some clocks use a pulley system to reduce the distance the weights fall each day, making the power reserve of each wind last longer, but requiring heavier weights. 5) There's no reason not to get a clock with a pendulum made of metal, most good-quality clocks aren't severely affected by temperature changes, and even for the cheaper pendulum clocks, it isn't such a big issue.

Fixed grip vs high speed detach. Same uphill capacity. The slower the chairlift the smaller the line is at the bottom and the less busy the actual run is.
