I was in Eau Claire that night at the Pablo Center. It was the final concert of his I attended. I am thinking I attended about 70 of them, back to 1977. I grew old with him. My seat was about Row 4, front and center. I remember how slowly he walked on and off stage. I thought he might have retired during COVID and called a career. But he got back out there- he lived life on his own terms.

This performance was amongst Gordon's last ones. His last performance was October 30, 2022, It's amazing he was able to last as long as he did despite having a terminal case of emphysema.

Thank you for sharing this. I saw Gordon a couple handful of times in the last fifty years and he never failed to entertain you. It’s sad to see that he was still out touring in this condition. I hope he was doing it for the love of the music and fans and not because he needed the money. Rest in peace Gordon and thank you for all the wonderful shows and music.

I love Gordon Lightfoot but this is pretty sad. Band is great, Gordon can still play the guitar but his vocal ability is pretty much gone. It's like watching an athlete that should have retired flounder on the field. Gordon's music will live on but it's time for him to stop playing live. Some singers can maintain their range, power, etc. well into their later years. Tony Bennett is a great example. He sang his songs in the same key with the same clarity, power, and accuracy at 95 in his last appearance with Lady Gaga. I was AMAZED! But he is the exception, not the rule. I don't know how anyone can see Gordon like this and not feel bad/sad. Please Gordon, you've had an amazing career with so many great songs. But it's time to stop playing live.

I must say, Tom Jones(who I was never a big fan of) seems to have retained a considerable amount of the power and vitality in his singing voice well into his senior years ..wish the same could be said of poor ol' Paul McCartney whose pipes are pretty much shot.

Это уже не тот Judast Priest, лед гитаристы слабее легендарных ,похоже на закат, как было в своё время с Nazareth, но всё равно лучше , рано или поздно все стареют и к этому надо относится с пониманием

I disagree with you Richie Faulkner great guitarist doing a great job. Richie's heart is 110% into this however Andy sneap he seems like he's just going through the motions to play and this heart is not into it lacks a lot of feeling in his playing on some of the songs not all of them but maybe he's just having one of those days as a guitarist I know some days you're just on and your incredible some days you like what the hell is wrong with me😮 so maybe it's just this performance that I'm watching with him I mean no disc to the man at all it's just some of the songs I saw around here that I felt that. So Long Live Judas Priest Long Live heavy metal if you think I will ever love any other music as much as heavy metal you've got another thing coming so I'm just going to keep riding on the Wind with my hell patrol as I seek my dreamer Deceiver before the dawn as I'm hot rocking heading down the highway I've got nothing to lose at all😊⚡️🌈🎸🎵🎶🌈😎🖖🤟👍
