@@msblack2829 They said what??? I have never heard of that. I have anemia and asthma. I have had pneumonia before but never heard of that term. My former boss wound up with a bacterial infection in his blood stream and they told him they did not know how, it could possibly be from touching like a shopping cart or something and then touching your nose, mouth or eyes, where germs can get in. I am ocd with that anywhere but ever since I heard that? it is ten fold now, lol. no way

I've had my experiences giving and helping the homeless- for some to take my money and in my face go buy alcohol instead of food when they said they were hungry- I've given food and been told I don't eat that but can you buy me Subway???? What? I've watched people sit on the side of the road with beers, liquor, a grill a cooler, and more packs of meat than my freezer? But homeless? I understand their point of view but they need to understand mine-

@@msblack2829 yes, me too. In fact, my husband tried to help someone & he turned down help but kept blowing up my husband’s phone all night long wanting him to go buy him cigarettes & beer! It all started when we were outside of a coffee shop & we saw an old homeless man with two little dogs. He didn’t ask for anything. At that time. We felt bad & went to get him some waters & dog food for the dogs. ( I hate that these poor animals are out in the streets, I know they protect their owners but you know it’s going to be over 100 soon, these poor dogs are out in this heat) we went back & asked if he needed food, he said no, he had money & had food for his dogs but he took the food for the dogs, I told him please keep it for them. He said he was a veteran . My husband is also a veteran so he said he would check out and ask around about some programs for him. This guy had a cell phone so he gave him his number in case he found assistance for veterans for him. He said he lost his job & couldn’t get hired anywhere. That night he proceeded to text & call constantly for alcohol. Well…the next day, this guy’s father, who is in his late 70’s calls my husband . He told us who he was & said his son was trying to get in touch with my husband for a job. My husband told him no sorry, he kept calling wanting beer & cigarettes, there was no mention of getting him a job. His dad said his son called him because my husband stopped answering & he was hoping the job story was true. Sadly, no, his son lied to him. He told us his son has been an alcoholic for years and we told him since his son was a veteran, there was an offer to see what programs/ assistance my husband could check out for him. His father said what?! He was never in the military, he lied to you. He thanked us for trying to help his son but he told us be careful, he can’t keep his lies straight! I do feel badly for the guy but he put himself in that situation. My heart breaks for his father & those sweet dogs.

@@msblack2829 yes, or they hound you for alcohol or cigarettes! I hate seeing dogs with them. Most of those people put themselves in their situation. I feel for them but to a point. I feel worse for their parents & the dogs that are forced to live outside in dangerous conditions like that. I saw one guy crossing in front of us with his dog..that poor dog looked so tired. We have dropped off food for the pups , water, etc. the homeless people just want money for their addiction. I posted an experience we had trying to help someone who turned out to be a liar . It hasn’t posted yet but that’s the gist of it. Lied about everything & just wanted alcohol. They can’t be trusted!

Stay off the strip lol that's how you can maintain life because the glitz and glam pulls you into another world

@@msblack2829 Fremont Street and the Strip aren't even in the same city. One is Las Vegas. One is Paradise.

You were in the touristy section. The main town itself, most people do not go to the strip or Fremont St. as that is all tourist prices, we don't go there unless we have guests that stay with us and want to go see everything. There are nice and not so nice sections of Vegas, just like anywhere else. It is getting very expensive to live here but no locals go out and pay those tourist prices, we go to other more local spots.

My opinion is my opinion- You don't know what I've experienced to feel the way that I do as a single mother still doing what I have to do to provide and stay safe. Everyone has a story and I've heard many- I have fed the homeless and even had my time that I needed help after an eviction- by the Grace Of God and my mental state of mind I got up every morning to do what I needed to come out of my situation, and PRAY that they will too🙏

I Pray whatever you, me and the world is going through- God won't give you more than you can bare! Life happens and it's on you to do what you have to do to live a prosperous life! Giving up and blaming others is not going to help change your life! You have to wake up and make choices everyday that guides your path...
