I upgraded from the xr to this phone and I’m absolutely in love!
@@KeishaMarsielle-z6y it's still a superb device! Probably the best iPhone Apple ever made
Dope wallpaper and case
It's funny how you say "seems about the same" whenever nothing phone opens an app clearly faser than iphone like the IG but whenever iphone opens it just millisecond faster, you give iphone props. Anyway, thanks for the comparison.
@@pangoytalala4886 it's easy to miss, but nice to see that you were watching the video carefully 👍
@bunsslife it's fine bro.......btw the nothing phone looks great. Look fresh in the eyes. I'm tired of seeing the same design language on almost every phone. It's great they doing they own thing.
@pangoytalala4886 yes I absolutely love it! They just gotta improve the camera and it would be perfect
What ram version u have of nothing phone 2?
@@nirajomega255 it’s 12 gb!
8gb
I recently bought nothing phone 2a plus everything is top notch in this mobile
Me using 2a
The Nothing Phone 2 is impressive indeed, but this is just a matter of comparing at least somewhat fair. Androids like Pixel, Galaxy S have been able to stay neck-to-neck with even 2-3 year newer iPhones since the first ever Pixel, or the Galaxy S8, but comparisons have always been iPhone 12 Pro vs Redmi Note 4 which hyped iPhones to be the invincible speed freaks or whatever.
@@KaunHeBeTu agreed, I think we need more comparisons between the latest flagships and "flagship killers". iPhones are no longer as far ahead as they used to be!
Hi Jeremiah, I have doubts whether I should buy the Nothing 2 or the Nothing 2a. Could you give me your opinion of which one you consider to be better (taking the price into account), if it is worth buying them at this point in 2024, and if there is any better alternative for a similar price? Thanks in advance!
@@erikpiedra7674 thanks for stopping by! If you don't game in my opinion the 2a would be a better choice. It's newer so it has a longer software support, and the camera system is not too far off the Phone 2 (slightly better battery life too). The 2a packs a lot with that price. But if you care about premium looks and performance I would definitely go for Phone 2, especially if it's discounted. Hope this helps!
Thank you!! @@bunsslife
if you're just casual user scrolling social media, casual gaming, multitasking. this phone handles it like a champ! great design and great optimization. loving it!
@@KuyuKiRa agreed! The 8+ Gen 1 is too good!
Upgraded from the iPhone 11 to the 15 pro max a week before the 16 came out, saved several hundred dollars, no regrets! 🤣
Exaggerated expensive device!! Why people pay over 1.000$/€ on a phone when there's under 500€/$ phones who can be as good or maybe more good than an iPhone or a very S series Samsung?
@@mrgrumpyjinx haha well it depends on everyone’s use case! Some are very particular with cameras, and I have to say that iPhones and Android phones like the Pixel are always very consistent in this department 🙂
@bunsslife if i want a good camera, i will buy a camera! From a phone i want to be fluid on the internet, good ram management. I use an Oppo A78 4G and it has all i want: extremely good Battery life, 8 gb ram with another expandable 4, amoled screen, fingerprint under the display, good sound both speaker and on earphones. And it cost me 280€!
There's no better phone thatn iphone 16 pro which is under 500$ no. You can say you don't need all that quality and camera, especially if you are just a regular person. But if you're content creator or just want the best then you have to pay 1000 $ and more.
Nah, I can't really get the 15's in my country, the pros are too expensive still and I'm just gonna get the 16 plus. Because Fb marketplace is too risky to order from.
@@Franzotm that’s alright too! Don’t get me wrong, the 16 series are still fantastic phones 🙂
@@bunsslife Ye hopefully it's good because I have a samsung, and I only used a iphone 5 like 10 years ago.
My 15 pro max was a lemon 🍋 86% battery health after 13 months. Was charging it 2x per day Sold it and paid 150$ extra for a 16+ Miss 120hz but for me battery is the most important
@@SahilArora09 that's unfortunate. My small 15 Pro battery seems pretty standard (but not fantastic by any means) but hey, at least you got a more recent iPhone now 👍
how are you charging it two times per day? My 15pm average screen time is 8 hours and i normally only charge once per day
Meanwhile me, skipping iphone, then skipping samsung, and getting the sony xperia
@@xxboxofmuffinsxx4252 man of culture right here 💪
Xperia phones back in the days did magic that Samsung and Apple are trying to catch onto now. They’re the absolute best, but unavailable in my country :)
@@sriparnapaik hehe fortunately i live in japan at the moment
This is what I did! I am a very stubborn consumer, and haven't bought a phone since IPhone Xs. It's finally starting to show signs of wear that are too glaring to overlook, so I bought the 15 pro last week. I'm hoping to get 6-7 years out of this phone, and I decided to skip the 16 after careful research. This phone seems like the right choice.
@@MrTytyjohn64 that's a massive jump! The only downside (still) is its battery, but average users shouldn't find it lacking too much.
@@bunsslife I bought a magsafe portable battery pack that I'll carry around, if it's absolutely necessary then I'll buy a battery case like I usually do.
15 pro is uglier than 16 (cooking stove camera module), heavier, thicker, has variable refresh rate (display stays at 80hz most of the time and switches back and forth which looks horrible), worse chip, worse battery and has bad color options. the only good thing about it is the telephoto camera
😐
@@budokhai sorry man its just overhyped imo
@@garfieldblessesyouwithadri3944 looks are subjective, 80hz refresh rate issue has never happened to me, and I have addressed in the video that battery is not its forte. Colour preferences are subjective too. 🙂
@@garfieldblessesyouwithadri3944the 15 pro is the OBJECTIVELY better phone, now if you would rather pay more for less go ahead. 15 pros are less than $700 meanwhile 16 is nearly $900 with tax and unlocked
As a 15 Pro user myself, it's a 10/10 phone!! Amazing video!
@@gaspigomez519 thank you, really appreciate it! Yes it's easily the best "small" phone 💯
Just a shame about the price never coming down.
@@GK-qc5ry yeah unfortunately in some regions it doesn't really drop

What would be the sweet spot price for this ? Also does it heat using mobile data with hotspot on?
@@ishraqalam9828 in my opinion anywhere between USD 500-600 is definitely worth it 🙂 and it has never heated up much with hotspot on from my own experience

im on the iphone 15 pro max, and seeing how this iphone 11 takes the update so smoothly i dont feel like i need to upgrade for like 10 years… 😭 that is amazing!
Agree with you, the 15 pro max is another beast!
charge when its bw 20-25% thats better for long term battery health ,speaking from experience
only thing stopping me from getting nothing is charging, some of us are spoiled by one plus,
@@ethanhuntBravoEcho11 agree, more smartphone companies should consider faster charging. 45W doesn't really cut it anymore, especially when all-day battery life is not guaranteed.
@@bunsslife 65 watt 5000mah is the sweet spot for long term good battery and fast charging/more sot
The flip to glype got me everytime 😂
I'm watching this but I don't have iphone 😆

Really love your video mate and I agree with the things u said. I personally own Phone (2), and I am pretty satisfied with it. Help me decide which one to choose: price tag is currently NP2 505€, SGA55 380€. Most important for me is battery life, but it seem to be very similar on both. I love the notification light on the back of NP, because I am missing it since all manufacturers removed it! IP67/68 is also nice, because I could take A55 on the beach without fear and the 2 years extra with patches and updates is a nice thing. The thing is the camera: I am hobby photographer and have a DSLR, but occasionally I take selfies of me and my wife with the phone, cause its faster, easier and.. the phone is always with me, camera - only on vacation. So how much better is NOW A55 against NP with the latest update 2.5.6? NP has 4k60p, but is it good enough to shoot videos in low light at home of the cat and for "a bit slower" motion? I never had a phone with inductive charging, is it all worth the extra price tag? Form factor is anothing thing that scares me on A55, I have a 6,4" phone and 6,7" with wide bezel will be quite the chuck. Gaming is the last thing I use my phone for, just casual 2D stuff.. Also is Gorilla Vectus+ glass more resitant than GG5? I don't consider S23FE, as it has inferior battery life, compared to these 2 phones.. before you ask. Same reason to ignore Pixel 7a, although it has the best camera from all 4 mentioned phones. Pixel lacks dual SIM, just nano SIM + eSIM and I need 2 dedicated slots! Any opnions would be much appreciated!
@@nikokune1395 thanks for stopping by! In my opinion it's a matter of preference, NP2 is aesthetically pleasing (imho) and has an extremely fluid interface. No lag whatsoever in my 9 months of use. Cameras are okay-ish, definitely good with enough lighting but I wouldn't recommend it if you need them to be reliable and consistent. I have not tried A55 myself, however it seems to provide better consistency on its cameras so if you're someone who shoots lots of videos and photos I'd say go for A55. Tl;dr NP2 for aesthetics, simplicity and UI fluidity, A55 for One UI features and more reliable cameras.
it gave me a virus
i still got my stuff back though
It doesnt give a virus

HOw about the 2a? is it worth it to buy now?
I have only tried the 2a for a few minutes at one of their shops, imo it's super worth the money! If you don't mind a mediocre camera and a non-flagship chipset you can save lots of bucks by getting the 2a :)
Does this attract too much fingerprints?
From my own experience not really, unless when my fingers got too oily I guess
