When I was a child in the 50S and 60S in Bradley near Huddersfield we had a place we called the planes where they held races, just about all the bikes were British, Dots , Cottons , Grieves, BSA ,S , and others, hundreds of people came to watch they were great days

Hello John, no, didn't make it this year. I'm flattered and surprised by your interest though. First one I've missed for a long time. Are you a spectator or a rider? I did a 40's event on the Saturday, (ua-cam.com/video/TPzbhN4xX5s/v-deo.html), an enjoyable but long day and then had family commitments on the Sunday. I usually manage both days but not possible this year. Next year, hopefully!
