clever enough as technology, it will save time but wont be cheaper for the customer as this machine is extremely expensive and the demand small and you still need to tailor it to the individuals needs which is clearly the opposite direction to the mass production lathe presented here. Furthermore you have to know what is worth copying, and this mouthpiece is not really representative of anything worth copying as the original in Salzburg is clearly an unfinished mouthpiece.A peak inside the backbore will establish that.

shure it would be possible, but not with such a perfection and precision over hundreds of parts! we want to be able to reproduce our parts, that all diameters are the same as years ago;)
