Searching for the north west passage from central US ? Pretty sure the French and the British had fairly extensive maps of the area north of their expedition prior to this, as well a good amount of the western coast line plotted. Mackenzie even crossed North America before this time. No way were they ever gonna find it, and i suspect they didn't intend to. This was more about finding a reasonable route to the pacific north west, not the "northwest passage", as well as bolstering their presence in the area. (for all you kids using this video at "school" during this pandemic hahah)
Some small inaccuracies in the film. First, Charbonneau did not purchase Sacagawea. He won her in a bet, along with another Shoshone woman whom he also married (Ambrose 1996). Second, Lewis and Clark did not instill good relations with ALL of the natives. The Sioux were hostile to the party and never accepted the rule of the "Great White Father" until they were subdued decades later (Ambrose 1996; Josephy 2006).
Now where the fuck did the united states, that were a struggling 13 colonies at that time in 1806 have $15,000,000 dollars? Do you understand how much money that was back then? Answer* the Queen or the Crown, that's why we're still under British law.
That's not bad for a 4th-grade book report you seemed to have left out the part where they almost starved crossing the Rocky mountains not in a waterway btw but overland.

This was really helpful for my research to do an assignment, personally, I didn't have any problems with how you spoke or how fast you speak. If someone were to have a problem with the speed of your voice they could speed it up or slow it down in the settings.
It was the moon shot of the 19th century.
