Vanishing Snow: The Hunt for the Missing Water
Переглядів 6545 місяців тому
How much water will make it from the winter snowpack to the Colorado River? Each winter, an unknown amount of water from mountain snowpack disappears into the atmosphere through the poorly understood process of sublimation. To better understand and quantify how sublimation happens, the Sublimation of Snow (SOS) Project deployed over 100 instruments at a research site at the Rocky Mountain Biolo...

inner language, paradigm change, precious quite poetic formula, buckminsterfuller of the subconscious.
Bro out here like a jedi spitting the force.
45:20 ////simple answer, please attend from morning to evening the Orthodox ritual *just* of The Holly Friday *will be enough* , and so without any religious predisposition.
Some great ideas and poetic visions, but leaves me with a sense of unease and I wondered why that could be. Eventually it came to me: great performance and wonderful discoveries, but no felt doubt in the almost righteous truth of it all. Preacher man, where do you truly lead?
My interpretation is that all of this implies that we are the Earth, that we are not separate from the Earth, to put it simply. Since we have considered Air, and Earth, to be non-sacred and unimportant, or even made it invisible in the case of the former, suddenly it is this infinite exterior Other to the sacred interior of the human Self. However, our interconnection makes the latter a very flawed interpretation.
@Dr #Adam Drewnowski
Congratulations for the master class. ❤
The "proper planning" defense is laughable within this context. He may want to ponder whether true Scotsmen put sugar on their porridge. The last point about optimality and brittleness was very interesting though - would have been great to see a follow-up video.
The problem with addressing uncontrollable/uncertain through scenario planning is that planning, a priori, relies on some semblance of order; it is always the things that you do not (indeed, cannot) scenario plan for that comes back to bite you on the ass. See Kauffman's theory of the adjacent possible, for example. How do you adapt for the unknown unknowns - and how do you know where to draw the line in scenario planning without falling victim to, say, the Lucretius problem?
I'd love to have a conversation the subtle energy of Earth. It's such a rich environment to explore. So interesting to include the breath into writing as an opening for new interpretation or expression.
😂😂😂😂😂 BS
no women, lol

the wind of greed and predatory winds have taken over pour minds. Is nature planning our destruction after we have destructed nature?
Nobody is listening to your criminal satanic crap
Funny how 4 years ago, cooperating with China was seen as a good thing...
Hey
WTF NOEL
noel
for a second i thought noel was just joking with us because there's nothing scarier than climate change
noel looking a little different :(
This isn’t Noel’s song…
Is this what is supposed to scare the hoes
❤️
As poetic as ever. Well spoken.
Sheer poetry. Mind blowing truths. Beautifully alive.
Check history. Climate never changed rapidly due to changes in CO2 because CO2 is not a strong driver of temperature on a water planet.
Commie fascist! BS
Dear David Abram, We are a big fan of your work! So much that we based a video on this talk you held on language and perception. We are part of pensive vivifier. We modify videos by sampling/quoting, mostly from content we find on social media platforms. We love to share with you the video we named after your words: 'sometimes they were people, sometimes they were animal'. this is the link to the video: ua-cam.com/video/4SoM585qX5I/v-deo.html Pensive vivifier would be super happy to hear from you. :) 🫀 All kinds, pensive vivifier

1) By reflecting away 30% of ISR the albedo, which would not exist w/o the atmosphere/GHGs, makes the earth cooler than it would be without that atmosphere like that reflective panel set behind the windshield. Remove the atmosphere/GHGs and the earth would become much like the Moon and Mercury, a barren rock with a 0.1 albedo, 20% more kJ/h, hot^3 on the lit side, cold^3 on the dark. Nikolov, Kramm (U of AK) and UCLA Diviner mission all tacitly agree. 2) the GHG up/down welling, “trapping”/”back” radiating/delaying/intercepting, 100 % efficient, perpetual warming loop requires "extra" energy which according to RGHE theory comes from 3) the terrestrial surface radiating that "extra" energy as a LWIR ideal black body which 4) cannot happen because of the non-radiative heat transfer processes of the contiguous atmospheric molecules and as demonstrated by experiment, the gold standard of classical science: principia-scientific.org/debunking-the-greenhouse-gas-theory-with-a-boiling-water-pot/ 1+2+3+4 = 0 Greenhouse Effect + 0 Greenhouse gas warming + 0 man caused climate change. Look instead of all this guess work just show us an experiment that proves CO2 causes temperature to rise. Do science not theorising ...
Who's paying for this stuff?
multi year study Polar Amplification Intercomparison Project found connection between warming arctic and wavy jet stream " highly unlikely " in other words more junk science
this is very interesting, thank you for uploading.

How odd, I have a ton of books some that I have not read yet , of so many I selected the Spell of the Sensuous and put it on my desk yesterday, Today I was looking at something else in an unrelated field and this video came up, certainly puts a voice on it as I will read it. Thanks for the creative sparks!
Very well done video and explanation! Thanks!
remarkable
Looking on google earth and zooming out and around to see the Arctic and Antarctic and sea surface temperatures level, overlays and some of the other tools like clouds.

I’m gonna do this.
And now she's senior advisor on climate policy. A great choice!
I also don’t understand the thought of badness being under us or in the middle of the earth. Interesting
