I agree, i was amazed at how much detail they had about the Great War, included in the gameplay. Components are nice, and after watching your playthrough, easy to clue into which marker was what. You guys have a great understanding of those rules, even with the odd head scratch, and this is a good thing to see.

I seriously hope to play this game, this week.

My birthday is coming up, and although it is a solitaire game, i am going to take a cue from you guys, and see if my daughter will play with me. Hell, how many two player games are played solo by so many people, me included 🙂

I think i will use painter's tape on the back side of the cards, to keep them in place on the tabel, thanks for letting me know that they are slippery.

This was excellent, thank you again! You have such a knack for not only explaining the rules nicely, but a great narrative! Yes, the Wings of Glory figures, are sweet.

Flats have been making a comeback in recent years due to the fact that they're cheaper than pewter rounds (3D) and you can field large numbers of figures on the wargame table. Most are paper and it's made wargaming much more accessible: just print, snip, mount and play. Easier to store as well. But WoFun has definitely risen as the gold standard for flat figures. The artwork is by Peter Dennis, whose figures are also available as paper flats and come in softcover album books.

I am shocked that there is that much game in such a small space. Reminds me very much of "14 Days", in that manner. When you started talking about units being suppressed, and so forth, reminded me of "Soldiers", and man this is going to be fun to pop on the little table, hell almost my lap 🙂

The colors are fine. However, maybe there is more room for some cheez whiz? I'm not sure what that means but I'll give it some more thought. :)

I wanted to say something cool but I'm not capable. Instead I'll just say 'frozen freezy pops'! Great paint on your minis. :)

The chain sword should have been past the decapitated tyranids head/body to sell the illusion that the space marine saws his head and claw off. But other than that it looks fantastic !!! Great job.

Are there rly people who bully others for their tyranid paint scheme ? Like, thats kind of the whole point of the hobby and how the lore is made, you can always come up with your own paint scheme. Idk, i guess some people could potentially be dumb enough for that.. 😢
