i love the symbolism of the eye injuries. Anya died with both eyes open, she saw jimmy for the monster he really was. Swansea lost 1 eye showing he saw jimmy as only a monster, curly lost the opposite eye implying his "turning a blind eye" and seeing jimmy as a good man and having hope in him. Daisuke lost both of his eyes as he died never knowing jimmys true nature and looked up to him :(

Jimmy did say he liked his job because it gives him a feeling of control, then he learns that the company intends to fire the team... It was all just about power for Jimmy, so he took advantage of Anya to feel "in control" again, and never felt remorse about it.

Tragic thing to consider is Anya's intentions for the gun would have been for her and Curly. She locked herself in the medical bay, with Curly, the one place Jimmy wouldn't be able to reach them again. She intended to use the gun to "free" herself and Curly, but couldn't open the case, and had to resort to overdosing. She hates forcing pills on others, makes her nauseous, so she couldn't do it to Curly. Anya saved Curly from his wounds, but she wasn't able to take him with her.

Holy cow! As someone who's watched a ton of other playthroughs, you are literally one of the few that has put the whole story together in-game, lol. I personally had to get the story explained to me for the most part, but it hasn't inhibited my enjoyment of it fr. This game is super harrowing and narratively deep, and it's crazy how so many people miss out on this!!!! Really freaking good job, and screw j*mmy!!!
