    • @CarolinaCarolina-ph9mx
      @CarolinaCarolina-ph9mx 9 місяців тому

      A dagger is more like a flat brush with a curved edge instead of a straight one. This brush is closer to a round brush, but with a much longer tip. I've seen a script type brush that is very similar to this. Ah, found it. I can't add a link or UA-cam will delete my comment, so google 'Alvaro Castagnet needle point brush'. His are natural hair brushes. The reason the brushes are designed like this, for him, is that the fat end of the brush holds water and paint to feed down to the long, skinny pointed hairs, so it paints much longer than a regular liner brush would do. The Princeton brushes are synthetic, so won't paint as long as his natural hair brushes, but they would probably do well enough for most of us. I have a billion brushes, but this one is a tempting addition. 🙂

    I like the Mungyo watercolors! Tried this brand for the first time a couple of years ago, and I really enjoy working with them, they have beautiful bright colors and a very good flow. I think the biggest downside really is the not so good lightfastness. But if you work in your sketchbook maybe, or make copies or photographs of your work, this really shouldn't matter. I would definitely buy these paints again, I think think they are so much fun to work with. ❤😸
