Jaehaera's death felt so unnecessary to me. It will not affect the Targaryen genealogical tree - all future rulers of Westeros will be descended from Viserys II, not Aegon III. I realize that her death was meant to be ironic - she died because of the actions of a very ambitious Hand of the King who wanted to marry off his daughter to him instead (Mirroring Otto Hightower situation.). But in my opinion if Jaehaera had lived it would have been ironic too - it would have shown how useless and bloody the war was and that the greens and blacks could have solved everything without blood by marrying each other as it was suggested before, that everything came back to that and all the blood was spilled for nothing because of that fucked up feudal system which lays perfectly in the narrative of George's books. Idk, her death felt like last bone thrown to the black team, like unnecessary punch to already beaten and defeated half-dead opponent. Maybe it's just my opinion. P.s. Sorry for any grammatical mistakes, I'm trying to improve my English skills.

I hate how jahaera died and aegon was married to another woman later 😢😢 if i could change something in the books it would be keep jahaera alive and they would have kids and daenerys would be descedent of both aegon ii and rhaenyra. It would be poetic to have the siblings who tried to end each other bloodline having the next kings and queens be from their mix bloodline 😢

When Jaehera died, Alicent was alone on bed and she was even talking on herself and losing her mind, and even often crying. There was a pandemic called Winter Fever where it killed almost of King's Landing and Alicent and Tyland got infected. Alicent died on her bed, alone with no family behind, outliving her children and grandchildren and thus Hightower's legacy is over. The Hightowers and The Velaryons who used to be big houses later getting sidelined as small houses. Last Hightower was Jorah's late wife and then Margaery and Loras's mother.
She didn't just "die" childless. She was murdered.

And even she didn’t survive long. 2 years after her marriage to Aegon III she jumped out of window and was impaled by the spikes below. With that the line of Aegon II and the Greens ended completely.
