In this session, Casiopea shows new songs off new album "Dramatic": Voice From Others, Fly To The Sun, Oriental Spirits, Michi, Shocking Function and Glory. They also play tracks off previous early 1990s albums and only play Asayake out of older songs (typical for the era).

Casiopea's return to NHK Session format first time since 1998. Here they are showing off two songs from new album "Inspire": Windy Sunshine and Suggestive One. They also play songs off latest album "Main Gate": The Gate Open, May Fly, Run and Circular Dream.

Promotional appearance on TV, showing off new songs on album Jive Jive in midst of Fall 1983 tour. It is also possibly last time Mukaiya used Yamaha GS-1 and Yamaha CS-70M.

With "Active" released 3 days prior, Casiopea appeared in a music show Sound Gig to promote its new album. Unfortunately, it was also this music show's last ever episode on air.

Cup Noodle Hot Around the World tour that Casiopea had in November-December 1984, to promote Down Upbeat release. They had a vocal quartet Pastiche regularly playing with them on tracks Dazzling, Love You Day by Day, What Can't Speak Can't Lie, Right From the Heart, Misty Lady and Living On A Feeling. They also played an arrangement of a tune on Pastiche's debut album, Take A Chance.

This live shows off new songs Red Zone and Marshal Arts, which will later appear on "大宇宙無限力神" album in November 1982.

Naoya Matsuoka was a regular performer at summer festivals almost annually. This year he was showing some new tracks from upcoming "Dance Upon A Time".

With "Platinum" released in September, Casiopea had their Magical Dancing Tour starting in October 1987. A day before first show in Chiba, they appeared on Music Square TV show, playing new tracks off the record.

This is possibly earliest Naniwa Express appearance on TV. Here they are playing a regular combination of Believin' and Between The Sky And The Ground for the time.

This is one of the European Tour shows Casiopea had in 1985. They had a similar tour done in 1984.

This is one of the shows of Casiopea's jazz festival tour they had in summer 1992 to promote release of "Active". It was also last tour they had with drummer Maasaki Hiyama, he would quit in autumn 1992 and was replaced quickly with Noriaki Kumagai for next 3+ years.

This is first time Casiopea returned to NHK Session since Session 94 on 1994-09-24. Here they are presenting new songs such as Blooming from "Flowers", Dream Maker from upcoming "Be" and Chain Reaction from then latest "Light And Shadows". They would later go on summer tour around jazz festivals and had a small run of shows to promote release of "Be" in October.

Noize MC's 2012 Noviy Albom Tour

FM tape recorded by Jamie Waddell. This is 2nd night of NYE run at San Francisco Civic Auditorium. Features rare performance of One More Saturday Night in Set 1.

2nd Leningrad Rock Club festival. Televizor, Ornament and Vystavka also played.

Mayer's 1st time in Baton Rouge and Louisiana. He later played in Baton Rouge on 2007-01-30 for Continuum Tour.

A bit from Voice Of America interview in late March 2010: "What are your impressions of New York? Noize MC: I expected more distance between my cultural context and the local one. When I came here, the first thing that surprised me was that I wasn't as surprised as I thought I would be. Still, you have to admit that American culture has gone to great lengths to ensure that farmhands like me don't freak out when they land at JFK Airport. I was first of all shocked by how clear, close and familiar it all made sense to me. In fact, New York and Moscow are very similar in spirit. New York is to the whole world what Moscow is to Russia and the former republics of Soviet Union. Only it seems to me that New York is a more positive, less angry city. Maybe this is just a tourist's first impression, but so far no negative events have overpowered my impressions."

Noize MC had an autumn tour around Russia promoting his debut "Greatest Hits Vol. 1" album which started on 2008-09-05 in Tochka, Moscow.

Jimsaku promoting their album Navel released on 1994-09-01. They later seem to have went for a tour that autumn-winter.

From Vsevolod Gakkel's book "Akvarium As A Way To Care For A Tennis Court": "Then we went to Moscow, but Zhenya couldn't come with us. So, having rehearsed once, we went with Petr Troshchenkov. This concert in the Lunacharsky Cultural Palace was recorded and later released on bootleg under the name "Arox & Shter". Boris refused to sing "В поле ягода навсегда", and I took the liberty to sing it myself, but I forgot the beginning of one verse, which is very well heard on the recording. This song was inspired by an article in Rovesnik magazine in which the song Strawberry Fields Forever was translated in this idiotic way."

Info from Sergey Kryukov: "Arrival of the Mashina has always caused a stir (for example, the arrival in 1984 was marked by the crowd carrying out one section of the glass doors of Sports Palace when buying tickets) and the first concert took place on April 1, and in the daytime the information about the arrival of the Machine was perceived (as a fool's day), especially after the arrival of Cruise in early March, and Dynamik gave the last concert of the tour on March 30, in general, the information was not really believed. I mean that the report about the arrival of the Machine was written by Volzhsky Komsomolets "very quickly", after 5 days a concert was played." Info from Alexander Nizhegorodtsev: "In 2013 in one of Samara hospitals I accidentally met the Vladimir Snopov - president of Samara Beatles Association. We started a conversation and it turned out that one of the concerts of that visit was recorded by him from the console by Makarevich's personal permission, perhaps this very recording is in our collection (dated 1984-04-06)."

Recorded by Levon Kocharyan at his flat (Ermolova Street, 15). Apperently he also recorded Vysotsky concert in Sevastopol earlier, however it was lost.

Originally shared on Rutracker being labeled as October 1981, however a fan corrected that Karnaval has changed their lineup since early 1981 and leader notes that they will "release the debut album soon" which was in 1981. He also congratulates with upcoming New Years, which definitely proves that this is a December 1980 show.

Possibly only show Mashina has played in Taganrog. They seam to have some issues with effects (like delay in Ты Или Я) and Makarevich seams to be worried of crowd storming from front rows the stage.

This is The Police's only ever show in Bologna. It was a tour supporting Ghost In The Machine which started in July 1981 and ended in September 1982. Their next gig after this one was in Segrate on 1982-07-04 Overall its The Police's 4th performance in Italy, they later performed two shows in Rome for 1984 Synchronicity tour leg and two times in 2007 & 2008 for Reunion tour in Turin and Mestre respectfully.

はじめまして。このミュージックスクエアは関東在住の私も当時見た覚えがあります。この動画を拝見するまですっかり忘れていました。動画をアップしていただき、有難うございます。 「PLATINUM」は、私の中のカシオペアの印象が「どうしちゃったの？」とどんどん冷めて行った頃でした。「HALLE」である意味頂点を極め、「SUN SUN」以降はどこか迷走というか隘路にはまっていったように思えたからです。これがやがて「空中分解」に向かっていたのかもと思うと(その様子も一ファンとして目の当たりにしていた)、この時期のカシオペアのアルバムや楽曲を長らく聴きませんでした。 確かに、「LOOKING UP」～「HALLE」のような、世界に打って出てやる！という意気込みや勢いからは次第に変わって行きましたが、超一流のパフォーマンスはこの頃には円熟味をも感じます。この動画でもそれを感じ取ることが出来ます。たとえTV番組であっても、メンバー4名と楠木氏が全く手を抜かず最高のパフォーマンスを届けようとする姿勢には感服します。 あれから30年以上が経ち、50代後半になった私も、ある意味「懐メロ」の感覚で当時のカシオペアを再び聴くようになりました。ほろ苦さを感じつつも、懐かしくもあり、当時何度も繰り返し聴いた曲はすっかり耳に馴染んでいることに気がつきました(野呂氏のソロ「VIDA」も)。 この当時でしか味わえないカシオペアの良さを見つけた気がします。

I was at this concert!!! My first Coldplay concert. I drove from L.A to Berkeley. I’ve seen them every tour in L.A 2003,2006,2008, 2011,2016 and 2017. This concert is my favorite since it was a small theater. Thank you for the upload and memories!
