I know it’s more about them than it is about me, it could have been worse 😂 I’m having real issues with the sound, sometimes the iPhone sounds good and other times it doesn’t. I also think I’m possibly making it worse in the editing as it sounds ok on my computer and then when I watch it on the TV not so much.. I would love a DJI 😍 maybe one day :) The umbrella was from Amazon and yes the sunrise took my breath away, the one advantage to being up early 😄

Thank you 😊 working with your partner isn’t for everyone but we met at work and have been working together now for 10+ years. Phoebe who works for us is amazing, she’s been with us 8 years so is like family. Ahh thank you, I just think about what I like to watch and have been trying to make little improvements each week. I hope the content won’t get too repetitive :) I will do some talking videos about what I’ve learnt along the way as well but really enjoying putting these together

My boyfriend and I run two businesses so we completely understand if it comes across as repetitive but it won’t bored me because we do very similar duties too 😊 so it’s lovely to watch. I actually watch your videos while eating breakfast before I head into my studio 🤗 Everything you had in this video is very well balanced and kept me wanting to watch more 😊

I think they would as it’s just normal rubbish but we have a tiny car so wouldn’t be able to get it there. I’m hoping to sell or donate the bigger items like shelving and tables. We have paper recycling at work which is great and then the larger bin for regular rubbish. We may have to get a skip, but I’m hoping to avoid that if we can as they are expensive. For home I can arrange for the council to collect bulky items so that’s an option too

Reducing costs is a big one, January is always super quite so focusing on ideas for Valentines Day and what I want the future to look like for the business. We pivoted before so it might be time to pivot again

And yes the sound was definitely less clear, I did try not having the mic pinned to me. I think when I was talking about the email marketing and that was much better

Hi, we have an employee that still sends the orders when we are away but before we had an employee we would just put a note on the website to say orders would be shipped a week later, but we would only ever go away for a week maximum :)

It’s just frustrating that we can’t find a way to heat it that doesn’t cost a fortune. What is your premises like? Ours is an industrial unit so there is no real insulation

We got rid of a load before this as well 🙈 I think we spent most of lockdown playing board games. Yes I feel happy with the decision, it needed to happen and I’m glad I started the channel now as I can document it all as you say. :) I am looking forward to the challenge of diversifying the brand and have some ideas that I’m keeping under my hat for now :)

So the plastic sleeves are reusable, we put the paperwork and labels in there and then take them out when the order is packed, they don’t get sent to the customer :) we use paper hardbacked envelopes for shipping so they can be recycled. We cut back on plastic use a few years ago and use a packaging company with really good environmental ideals as this is important to us. :)

There are some incredible books you can read, I’ve read so many over the years. The Lean Start Up is good and so is E Myth. I would highly recommend watching my profit first video as well. I think I have realised that I need a certain amount of sales a month for my business to ‘work’ we had that during lock down but never since and the stress that comes when it doesn’t work is not worth it for me. I also think it depends on what you want out of it. I never wanted a big business with lots of employees, I just wanted to work in my own terms, doing something I enjoyed and being able to spend time with my family
