The second step of the can sheet production process consists of using Kaiser Aluminum Warrick’s hot and cold rolling mills to flatten large aluminum ingots into coils of thin sheet.

In the first step of the can sheet production process, Kaiser Aluminum Warrick’s Ingot Department combines metal from several sources to cast 30-ft long aluminum ingots that are later rolled into coils of thin sheet.
