How I look forward to the day when God shall wipe all tears from our eyes, and make everything right.
Love this podcast!! ❤
Thank you. That’s all I can say now - just thank you both.
Amazing discussion -- loved every insight. Thank you!
Stefan (sp?) and you’re still bringing people to God with this podcast and probably many other things you’re doing; which goes back to your father and the man that baptized him David Hamilton I think you said. What I’m saying is it’s just a chain reaction. It’s beautiful. I’m glad you mentioned that.
David, I wanna know where you got that Utah hat. It’s upside down and backwards that’s hilarious. I thought at first it was just the filming but the cups read properly anyway not to get off subject on you but I like your hat.
Great conversation that’s making me think about principle vs preference in our choices ✨ May we all “ become so converted to the Lord that the stain of sin and the desire for sin are taken from our hearts”❣️ And yes may we all remember that “burying our weapons of rebellion leads to a unique joy” that only Jesus, in His infinite mercy and goodness can gift us💕✨😊
I love the language of friendship between Dave and Stephen!! Feeding off of each other is what makes this podcast special and why I always come to it. I love to get a chuckle, a smile and sometimes even an LOL and yet feel the spirit. Keep these episodes coming!! ❤❤
Many years ago I gave up for too long. After years of getting beat up I fell to my knees. BUT I saw and felt the grace of Jesus Christ….. although it was a little tough at first, I went back to that night I first received strength from my Redeemer, and kept moving.
I will forever sing that hymn so much more tenderly - “Confused at the grace that so fully He proffers me 🥹💕” How blessed we are to have this grace extended out to us by the young men and older men in our ward who hold out the sacrament tray to us each sabbath day🥲
I love these videos! They bring out parts of the conference talks and apply them to real life. I love the relationship between Dave and Stephan -- they each have their own personalities that add to these podcasts. I like the extra information they add to the podcast at the beginning. I would love to see the world religions with Dave someday. Please keep these podcasts exactly like they are. Thank you for your efforts.
These videos are soooooo loooooong. Some people like the banter I suppose but a lot of people I talk to don’t watch for that reason. I know you have fun, but …
23 minutes is sooo long? I love them. (Listen to them on double speed if you want, that would help).
@@MichelleChristensen-t5h Sorry, I thought I was responding to a different podcast. Ooops.
“I can emphatically state that because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, ultimately, in the eternal scheme of things, there will be no unfairness. ‘All that is unfair about life can be made right’ [Preach My Gospel, 52]. Our present circumstances may not change, but through God’s compassion, kindness, and love, we will all receive more than we deserve, more than we can ever earn, and more than we can ever hope for. We are promised that ‘God shall wipe away all tears from [our] eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away’ [Revelation 21:4].” Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, “That I Might Draw All Men unto Me,” Ensign, May 2016, 42. This is also my favorite, core, Christian belief. When our first daughter was stillborn due to an umbilical cord accident that was completely out of our control, my grandma gave me a little pillow from Deseret Book that says, "Someday everything will make perfect sense... someday." That pillow sits on my bed and reminds me of a glorious future where I will get to be with ALL of my children. One amazing blessing from having a daughter with Jesus is that whenever I think of her, I remember Him. And I think of her a lot. 💗
Happy birthday, Dave! You're 12 days younger than my husband. '81 is a good year!
Happy Birthday!!! 🥳🙌🏻🎉🧁🎈
Happy birthday. I love, Love, LOVE listening to you and Stephen. 😊
Happy Birthday 🎂🥳 my birthday is the 13th😊💖
I think it goes: If you make your bed, you get to have cake
Yes! Hahaha
Awesome podcast! Happy birthday Dave!!🎉🎉🎉
I always enjoy your discussions and headlines! This talk by Elder Kearon is a favorite and your headlines are the best!
Great episode!!
Wow!! I will go to and come home from the temple with a whole new view. It’s not that I hadn’t heard the words, but you just brought them to life.
Reading to my children was a holy event for me as well. Some days we would spend hours in books. Unfortunately, I have grandchildren who did not want to be read to! They wanted to read to me, haha.
Very good!!!!
I love you guys! This podcast really is reviving! Thank you for holding up His light!
14:28 🎶”Gratitude ” by Brandon Lake. Thank you Stephan for recommending it!!
“All who worship in the temple will have the power of God and angels having charge over them” ❤
I love the definition for wisdom as divine guidance. Yes, our prophet has divine guidance! (ST #2)
I love the idea of themes for sacrament meeting messages like summer of Psalms. Very intriguing!
I love both the Christmas songs you mentioned. Come All Ye Unfaithful was my favorite new Christmas song this year. I've song Holly and Ivy with my chorale before, and it was an awesome experience. Thanks for your great lesson.
This episode was my favorite 🙌 So was this talk 😀 I loved renaming ward council to The Worship Team 👊🏼 ✨ And may we all remember that loving someone is never a waste ❣️ Welcome to the Church of Joy 😀
Best Bishop practice ever. Get to know your peeps ❤
PREACH! look forward to this every Tuesday!
Thank you so much! I enjoy your humbleness even though you are both book smart. Your discussions increase my understanding of the gospel. My favorite Christmas🎄song is “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day”. Happy New Year🎉
Win the waiting by obeying & trusting 😇💞💝‼️
I LOVE O Come All You Unfaithful! Brings me to tears every time.
🎄🎶 Merriest Christmas guys!!!
Loved this talk! Great thoughts to help remind us of it!
Thank you!!!!
Thank you!!! ♥️
I listen to a LOT of LDS content creators and this podcast is my absolute favorite. You both exude the light of Christ in your presentation of his truths. Thank you so much for what you do.
“I like looking at a person and figuring out, ‘oh I see why God likes you so much’.” That has been my daily prayer the last few months. Please let me see them as you see them. I feel God’s love when he gives me a glimpse.
I figured out the answer to your question in the next episode about why America doesn’t make as good of chocolate as Europe or other countries: because we rush everything!!! Maybe if we slowed that process down too, our chocolate would be better!😊😂
There as no sponsor on this episode!!!!!😮😮😮😂😂😂
God with us … Emmanuel 🥹🙌🔥
Your closing comments about Christ not accepting the wine and myrrh made me wonder if the Savior was fasting?
There is a great article in LDSLiving called “A simple way to feel connected to Christ in the here and now” that touches on this talk and this conversation. Haven’t you noticed we always have something ON - music, podcast, UA-cam, audiobook, phone scrolling, which keeps us from being with ourselves in our head. I think meditation is just simply being with oneself in your thoughts with God. Great podcast!!
This podcast was almost eerie - I had just finished rushing through a prayer to help me not be the epitome of Christmas frazzle, when I listened to/watched this. Truly, truly good news - slow down, be present, and take time to listen to God.
Thank you so much for sharing your testimonies and insights 🙏 This was very in lightning and has given me a lot of food for thought 😊💖
I don't know if it's a UA-cam thing, or if it's something y'all can 'turn on' from your end, but as a Hard of Hearing friend, having the captions available for each episode would be very useful to me.💖
