You are very handsome, great video!
@@alex-s3k-s2p handsome ? Thank you
I have no trouble with supports fusing to the model, my issue is the shear amount of them on small detailed models, that totally surround parts of the objects.
@@DavidSmith-te9gg Paint them yourself
You are comparing regular PLA to Pro PLA from Polymaker, not really apples to apples...
No offense but, while watching a video that gives me an idea about which filament to choose, it is a huge red flag when the reviewer says "polymaker is very good" and then says "the sponsor of this video is polymaker".
@@necomecoo in fact I say that my fav filament is sunlu ,;)
I have been through this issue for many prints. I tried this solution and that solution. Some would work with one type of material, or this type of bed. I wanted a guaranteed fix so a 24 hour print would stay flat. This procedure I came up with will prevent any king of lifting and use less material because a brim or raft is not required. PLACE BLUE TAPE ON YOUR BED. AFTER ABOUT 5 TO 6 LAYERS ARE PRINTED, USE THIN SUPER GLUE, AND PLACE A FEW DROPS BETWEEN THE CORNER OF THE PROJECT AND THE BLUE TAPE! The thin super glue will wick into the corner. Your project will no longer lift at the corners, ever!!!! PROBLEM SOLVED!
You took the weight readings before drying. What was the weight of the filaments after drying?
@@pauldibene5096 you're right, I lost the clips, but they were 1-2 grams less
If 60 degrees improves it but doesn’t fix it, should I drop my bed temp further and if so to what?
@@JNexTV there are many other variables, if the printer is enclosed, if the filament is dry and what type of filament, you do small tests with 5 degrees changes in positive and negative, it took me a while to get my temp correctly

Have you had any warping experience for PLA+?
@@JNexTV yes in the past, but with these little tweaks, fixes it . But PLA+ requires different temps, you have to test it a bit, so many variables
@@PixelForgeLabwhat else would you suggest taking a looking at settings wise that could need to be tweaked, and what brim width did you use?
@JNexTV just the bed temp, brim any will do 👍🏼
@ will test when I get home, wish me luck 👍
Better but still not perfect. What else would I touch?
Dose it still work 2025?
@harrylevesque6566 of course, I've only done the review couple of weeks ago

i used to when i had an ender 3. Then i got an A1 and it sticks beautifully.
Do I need to worry about warping after my print is done? (Even when printed properly)
@piggiewiggle9838 no, if bed temperature is ok, let it cool down for 5 minutes, and the print will be just fine. Obviously, the bigger the print is, the more chance it could warp.
@PixelForgeLab Thanks!
A great way to prevent warping on the extra large prints is to use fuzzy skin. The warping happens because the pla is contracting along the length of the line and the fuzzy skin prevents there being a long straight line to contract
@@JamesTaysom but you can't use fuzzy skin on all prints
Does this work with all support types
@@ThatJerkFromCali pretty much yeah, just do some small tests, it may varies a bit
Thanks will give it a try
I’ve read that there are things you still have to do with the original control ( or through the mobile app). Is that still the case? Can everything that the original controller will do be done with the touch?
@@poorman-trending been using it for a month now, never touched the original, only to do updates and calibration
I never had this issue and I don't use this setting and I have burnt out a stepper motor to which I need to replace I only run pla majority of the time and my printers are really good I just run them The Living Daylights out of
@@GamerUSA5428 doesn't happen to everyone, this video is for those who this happens ;)
Never had this issue and I print a lot of pla
You can use PETG interface with 0 Z distance and 600 purge (for both pla to petg and petg to pla). A lot of purge is used to avoid the risk of poor adhesion between layers of the same material due to contamination. I recommend using the same color if possible since it can stain white, for example. Of course the AMS module is recommended but if the support is all on the same layer you can do it manually
@@federicocoassolo9347 that's a bit too complicated, but thanks
Mine keeps restarting and after searching everywhere online and trying everything i reached out to support then after doing everything with them they ghosted me. Trash company and I wouldn't buy from them again. The issue is I already wasted money on 2 panda pwr😢
Why does my recommended profile that I paid for have a top z of 0.16?
Dude you should give your sink a quick wash with isopropanol.
@@Lukas-ws8pu 🤣 probably
Hey I was really looking forward to this video comparing all these brands, however when you announced that Polymaker sponsored the video I was instantly disappointed as I think this is a bit of a conflict of interest... A video about comparing filament brands and quality shouldn't be sponsored by a brand who you're going to use in the video itself. I know you threw bambu into the mix for the finale however both of the other options were Polymaker. I just feel this is a conflict of interest in an otherwise awesome video
@@TechCRS i get your point but polymaker didn't pay me, only sent me filament. And my review is totally mine, in fact my fav filament is sunlu
Tree slim supports set Top Z distance to 0, also what about 0.16 optimal settings, I am wondering if we add 0.075 to this if it will also work as 0.2 settings, great video and I will be using the suggested 0.275 when using standard 0.2, I will test the others when I get a chance and see if it also works on 0.16 and see if "slim tree" supports can be changed from 0
Dude, please release a how to on linking your bambu account! It's driving me nuts that I cant access any cloud features.. no matter how many times I try to login it just tells me to check my network; even though it's good.

Update to the newest firmware
Good review! but why that bad music ??? make me not stay and look everything.
@@torbjornnn5085 can you actually hear it ? It's so so low, but ok 👍🏼
If I had to decide whether to buy it again, knowing what I do now, I would not pay for it. I agree the setup is a literal nightmare and not well documented. And every few days Bambu updates their firmware and then my Panda Touch quits working in some areas and Im back to the original screen till Panda too does a firmware update. Even though I have updated firmware several times, I still cant login about 90% of the time and never can set temps from the Panda touch. Also my z up and down are always reversed. The top bitton moves the bed down and the bottom button moves the bed up. Also I finally had to tell it to no longer notice my other Banbu printers nearby as it would constantly give connect disconnect failure messages. It also is very slow and laggy. It seems to have to do everything through the network and doesnt directly send its info or receive info. The cloud is required but slows it down by 3 to 5 seconds even for status messages. It has error messages related to it not connecting at least 1 out of every three times it needs to communicate. When I bought it, I thought I was updating my P1S to be very similar to my X1C screen. But the Panda is only good for visual indications as it is very unresponsive to touch and some functions just dont work at all due to Bambu regularly updating firmware too. Ive considered just removing it altogether and probably eventually will as I have to go back to using the original screen most of the time anyway. It looks nice but doesnt work very well to enter info. Sometimes have to push a onscreen button 5 or 6 times before it takes the press then delays 1 to 3 seconds for each press made. Its definately not worth the expense unless you just want some onscreen type info only.
@@dggcreations couldn't agree more 👍🏼 Thanks for your feedback

@@YokohlCreek you mean the fart ? 💩
@@PixelForgeLab yep - at the 0:06 mark
I have another issue. Maybe you can suggest something. When printing with petg-hf with supports the filament looks like it's burning where the seem finishes near the supports. On the supported area the output is horrible almost like it has too much heat. When printing without supports everything is ok. And as you presented the supports loose their purpose if the distance is too high. It's almost like the heat from the support material dissipates and melts the printed part.
@@titusm so sorry but I have a little nor much with those filaments, like I say in the video, every filament will have its own setting
Thanks. Who knows where the answer is coming from. Only those who do not ask don't receive answers😊
super helpful video
Nice video, I can't wait to give it a try.
very valuable, thank you!
I think this is a lot of work. Seems easier to take your original SVG and bring it into TinkerCad and then you can easily make any necessary modifications to get it looking the way you want. Then you can modify heights of the various elements as desired and export the STL and then import into your slicer. Add layer pauses as needed to allow for filament color changes and you're good to go.
A life saver!
I like this spider
Have you tried .28? The reason I am asking is even numbers are easier to remember and calculate.
@@phreakmode hi, no I haven't tried, will do 👍🏼
