Flat towing the Pajero back to Bramwell Roadhouse so it can be towed to Weipa
Personally dose it matter what 4x4 it is as long as its giving freedom
you need radio communication with driver.. not hand bs signals.. plus, driver passenger, works better than r/h down ect..
quik,, quik,, get the bitumen truck, we need a road..
??.. why do you buy rediculous non 4x4rs, then think, you can go 4x4ing..??.. IF, you intend to go ''off road''. 2 vehicles to buy. toyota 80 series, nissan gu, 4.2tdi.. nothing else, there a joke. ifs, computers, traction control, 4x4 stikers.. joke.. because there ifs, they have no wheel travel , most important, &, YOU CAN NOT RAISE THEM. plus std 31'', is pathetic. lower air pressure, to say 15 psi, then you have a 28'' tires.. no bweno.. the gladiator is fine, except, petrol..
The channel has it's first troll! Welcome aboard, don't forget to like and subscribe. 👍
Ahh yes lets count how many Dakar Rally wins does the Toyota LC and Nissan Patrol have compared to the Pajero? It doesn't matter if the Pajero runs on Independent All Wheel suspension with Double wishbone front and multi link rear when it can still perform offroad and take corners at high speed without flipping over like the LC and the Patrol with the type of suspension they have. Funny how the Gen 4 Pajero can lift wheels and still continue forward while those 4x4 you mentioned need all the wheel articulation they can muster to be able to go forward. Not hating on the LC and Patrol which are really great cars but the Pajero also serves a specific niche that most 4x4s can't offer.
The sound seemed different and powerful, is it the newer turbo? Larger exhaust? Moded MAP ?
Love my paj!! very underrated vehicle have walked up tracks in 4H that other guys have used front and rear lockers for
what size wheels and tyres are you running there? any spacers? great looking pajero
Some great clips there 👍
Incrível parabéns pelos carros !!!
@Gman839 what year and model is this beast?
It would be about 2010 I reckon
Awesome!
Easy work for the Pajero. Just putting some stickers on my Pajero so it can turn into flat bed off road truck 😂😂. Great video as always and looking forward to more drone footage. 👏🙌
Amazing tip on sticker removal there mate. Can’t even tell it was ever there! I’m sure the whole procedure was quick, easy and cheap too. 🤣
It's this kinds of helpful consumer advice that I think differentiates my channel from most others.
A couple of years ago I was talking to a highway copper in Aileron NT, he was heading down to SA on the weekend to Port Agusta to buy an ex SA Police Paj that was coming up for auction. He mentioned why he loved driving the Paj on the gravel roads around the NT..the Paj he said "at high speed on gravel roads is pretty near unbeatable..it is a real weapon". He gave an example of chasing some idiots in a stolen Ranger Raptor out of Alice Springs...the Paj stuck pretty well to the Raptor..he drove the Paj in 4H using full manual sports mode..caught them on the other side of GemTree.."the idiots" he mentioned.."didn't know know I was nearly in their boot".
They say "nothing can frighten a Triton", but nothin will stop a Pajero. Love That Car.
💪😎
WHAT YEAR IS THAT PAJERO?
it is a 2011 NT Rx limited edition.
Great video!!! ...... GO THE PAJ!. Some of those water crossings were scary
Great machine
I have 3.8 petrol. Little over 400k. Awesome vehicle. 👌🏾
3.0 in mine, 360k on the clock. Awesome and underrated
Great stuff
Great video and driving. Can I ask if you have lockers in the car, or are you relying on the traction control?
I have a rear e-locker only, no front locker.
@@scottbh074 what brand did you install please?
Is this diesel or petrol ⛽?
Diesel - 3.2L Turbo - 4M41T motor.
Diesel or petrol?
Diesel, 3.2L Turbo - 4m41T motor.
First time I ever heard anyone complain about Patrol diffs.
No naked chicks just two guys on an adventure 🤣😂👏👏 great video guys.
Great team work great filming and great adventure. How many kilometres on the Pajero. Keep the air cleaner clean and check the turbo compressor hose coming off the turbo as they like to slide up because of weak worm clamp. When they get loose you can hear a distinct whistle noise when turbo waste gate in operation. Noise is a lot less when turbo hoses are all tight. It will save turbo in the long run. Have fun stay safe 🙌
Some solid driving there! Knowing how the camera takes most of the actual aggressiveness out of the terrain ie 5:30 pretty damn impressive.
Love seeing the Pajero doing what its born to do. Best bang for buck 4x4 wagon period. Great adventure mate. I have an NW very similar to yours, what 'rock sliders" are you running on your Paj?
The sliders are XROX brand. Great product, gives way better protection than the old side steps. I do miss the step though...
What size tyres are you running on the Pajero?
They are destination MT2 by firestone, 265/70R17. Awesome tyres that can take the punishment off road. Running them on ML Triton rims to get around the front brake caliper size.
@@scottbh074 nice. Has it got a 2 inch lift too?
@@Josh-nd2mt yes, 2inch lift kit with HD springs by EFS
Never owned one, I have had LRs, but I have much respect for this vehicle.
Andrew was peeved as he took out the rear bumber on test and mitts. Made him pay for it. Besides , he thinks land rover are reliable. Ignore him
Great video heading up that way myself in about eight weeks. Looking forward to it. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video. Great adventure. Theres no stopping the Pajero. With the river crossing did any water get into the Pajero? 👏👏
no water inside from the river crossing.. Nolans Brook on the other hand.....🙂 A little made its way in down the door pillars on that one.
Water levels ok?
They were fine - early season is definitely the best time to be up there.
Love it!!!
My Pajero is a 2002, 3.8l petrol. I wont take it rock hopping but it still behaves off road, not bad for a vehicle with over 330,000ks on the clock.
Twin locked??
Just the rear locker
Hi it's Brad I enjoy watching the Pajero out exploring. Just curious as to the brand of tyre your running and how they are performing
Hi Brad. I run the Firestone, MT destination MT2 Mud tyre. These things are amazing and have sidewalls that are tougher than most I have seen. They have taken many years of punishment. The ones in this video have been to the cape in 2020, the Simpson in 2021 and this trip along with many weekend trips in between being punished.. They have great grip and have never let me down.
Pajero is still BETTER!!!
Awesome Video!!😄
I love this machine❤.
Excellent video demonstrating the Mitsubishi Pajero capabilities. 👏🙌
Wow, Nolan’s was DEEP!!! 😮
andrew is a drama queen, maybe Mitsubishi didnt pay him, so, he lashed out at them.............andrew is all about money, scamming his patreons to the nth degree! LOL!!!
No chassis, where do you fit the bumper, on the hood or along with the engine mounting? DiD sucks, one jet goes for 500 bucks. No real men anymore so they don't do real trucks these days. Our generation would keep with 4D or 4M engines, whereas simple clutch replacement done by me in half an hour will cost me not more than 50 bucks. Thank you very much, sir.
Perhaps don't pipe then post there champ 🤣
There is a chassis on the 3rd and 4th gen Pajero. An integrated one. It is extended up to the front end of the car and it is possible to install a Bull Bar, Winch... Actually, it is larger, thicker and much stronger than the ladder frame chassis of the 2nd gen Pajero!
I'm daily driving a mint 1990 NG Superwagon V6 petrol. It's thirsty AF but damn is cool
Well done guys looks like a fun day out. Enjoyed the river crossing looks like a nice place to camp. Looking forward to your next adventure be safe have fun.
Mate take a stock gen 3 or 4 there and we'll talk again. Compared to the Prado it is inferior for offroading. My gen 2 Paj in stock trim can outwheel a modified gen 3 or 4. How much did you have to spend to get your Paj as capable as it is now? Spend the same amount on a gen 2 and you'll outwheel comp trucks! I'll keep my gen 2 thanks the tupperware Pajero's I'll leave for people who have money to waste.
I think it would be really interesting to put the different generations side by side and find out. Of the various vehicles we've had along on our trips (Hilux, Patrol, Everest, Prado etc) the new Pajero Sport is definitely the most disappointing (albeit it was set up for towing) and the Jeep Rubicon by far the most capable (on big tyres - actually huuuuuge tyres... :)). Scott's Pajero has plenty of touring mods as you can see in the video but I'd argue he is running typical mods for any 4WD in Australia: bull bar, 2 inch lift and tyres. The rear diff locker compensates for the lack of flex and the skid plate prevents, ok "reduces" the sand drag from the rear bumper :) This generation of Pajero is not a comp truck and never will be - my point of the video is that it's not a mall crawler as people often argue and while it will never be as capable as my Patrol it will still get you to the same places and in a lot more comfort!
Each to his own Andre, glad to hear you love your Pajero as much as I do mine. My total spend on mods is just on 10k for a 2" lift, bullbar, diff lock, 2nd battery and tyres - very happy with my investment 🙂
@@scottbh074 I'm extremely cheap, bought my Paj for ZAR 10K (about 1k AUD) with a 2" lif, front bar,t 32.5 KO2's 3.5 V6 and a clapped out trans. I got paid to swop out a tranny for a Prado and kept the old one. That now does duty in my Paj. I use it for my Botswana trips. Sometimes I wosh I can tow it to my destination with my Fiesta, it'll be a lot cheaper on petrol. Got gifted a Gen 2.5 GDI 3.5 (clapped out engine) by my niece in Botswana that I'd like to build it for when I play around there.
nice vid. truth is, between this and the prado, i'd take this one for offroading anytime - it's 200 kgs lighter.
Amazing, Very apt Title, TRUE to it's USP, love from India.
