Hello neighbor. I have hunted, fished & camped in your area a lot. I live in Lake City. The big bend area is loaded with them. Osceola is also. I'm 72, I've hunted there all my life. I've had several sightings. My father grew up in Oluster IN Osceola. His first encounter was 1938 and scared him to death. And he grew up in those woods. I worked for Cat for years. I was attached to a Forest Service unit when Osceola burned bad @ 20 years ago. I was behind 8 D7s at a rear area in a hunt camp. I saw 3 running from the fire. I was scared then but it was because of the fire, not the squatch. Wonder if any tread out there on St Vincents?
