I'm not sure about getting students to rush through the analytical questions through "races"... it's so pressurising and analysis generally requires slower and deeper reflection as opposed to feeling the need to "race". My two cents :)

May I ask what is the conceptual framework of the Australian curriculum or the curriculum framework of it?

I know this video is two years old, but I did the exact same thing you did in year 10 doing work experience at a primary school. I did it at my old primary school twice. I was in a 1/2 class and a 3/4 class. And my second time was in the 3-6 special education class. I originally wanted to be a primary special education teacher. But now have my eyes set on high school. Specifically years 9-12. I plan on teaching Modern History and Drama

You mentioned some of my summer essentials. But other essentials that are not only for summer are t-shirts and a denim jacket.

I have worked at the school I'm starting my contract with in admin/teacher aide roles over the past year, and I'm lucky enough to already know a lot of the staff. I agree with you that networking is KEY for teachers. One piece of advice that I received from a teacher is to always introduce yourself to admin and get to know them/their roles as well as teachers. Looking forward to your next video! Enjoy your well deserved break.

I’m English and History too and this is my first year. Unlike you however, I am scared of teaching certain subjects, particularly English because it has been almost 20 years since I was in high school and I feel like I don’t remember anything. Your videos are great and have helped me a lot.
