HELP DID SOMEBODY SAY “the one is the blue shirt is hot!!” 😭😭
These guys are really good I hope they continue to play
Still better than real Weezer.
the best cover ever weezer would be proud
Even though it was from 8 years ago they still kicked ass
I wish I could do this and even if I could people would bully the hell out of me I can’t even wear black eyeshadow with out people making fun of me 🥲
This was amazing. The crowd being so into it made it even better. Idk why I’m watching this randomly at midnight 8 years later but killer job.
lead guitarist has chops. hope he's still playing.
THEYRE SOO GOODDD <33
those guys literally killed it. i seriously hope they kept it going
the vibe is so good
if i wasn’t a weezer fan and wasn’t given context for this video i would have probably believed this was weezer
IS THIS THE RUBBER BAND FROM GROSSE POINTE????
Great song
did it win its really good
Damn, was waiting to hear the high note and the vid ended literally right after he hit that shit. What a performance!
i love how the corwd turned say ain't so into beverly hills
Always loved this song and the band did an awesome job. This video also has the best audience reaction, especially toward the end when everyone is out of their seats and cheering, of any talent show video I've watched thus far. Or maybe tied with the "Basket Case" high school gym cover; I'll have to revisit that one.
Guitar and bass sounded great!
I didn’t know rowley played guitar
💀
This was all kinds of awesome. It brought back memories of my mates and I playing "Iron Man" and "Wish You Were Here" and I think we also did a heavy version of Bob Seger's "Turn The Page" at our senior talent show. These kids are much better than we were. But, oh man, I mean as soon as people realized what our 3rd and final tune was going to be, the auditorium went NUTS! There were some kids who stood up and started cheering, but even MORE parents, and they started whoopin' and hollerin' and sang along with every last word. Even a bunch of teachers in the back stood up and started clapping, and I don't think most of them liked me all that much in general... So, that was a really cool little moment of acceptance there. We ended up coming in 2nd behind my longtime girlfriend who did this incredible ballet routine to a medley of old blues tunes. It was... Well, it was moving. Physically AND emotionally! Unfortunately, the girl dumped the day after graduation, and my mates all went to K-State, so the band was dead before it even had a chance to get off the ground. But, this tale is not a tragic one, because for the final few weeks of high school my friends and I were treated like f****** superstars; which, believe me, was certainly NOT what we were accustomed to after almost four years of braces, acne, and marching band. Hell, I even became pretty close with a couple of those teachers that I had always thought had genuinely never liked me (two friends that I still have to this day)! True, our time in the sun was brief, but after trudging around so long in the shadows of our public school system, the fact that we were on top of that mountain when we left..? Well, it was glorious. It was m***** f***ing glorious. I will always look back on those days as being some of the happiest in my life. Four buddies (a dweeb, two geeks, and a wallflower) transformed themselves into four young men, accepted (and, who knows, maybe even admired) by our peers, and ready to take on whatever came next with our heads held high... well, ok, at least higher than they had been. And you know what the most badass thing about all of that is? It's that, from those first moments on stage, until the end of time, no one, and I mean NO ONE, can take that away from us. ... Wow. Well that was a looot more than I had planned on writing in a UA-cam comment, but here we are. So, if you stayed with me and read this whole thing, then I send you a sincere "thank you" and an apology! Well, that's it for me. Thanks again if you read it, and either way, please take care and be well.
Thanks for sharing! I liked reading your comment. I hope you are doing well now, and i also agree that this cover was simply awesome
We all have precious memories that are ingrained in us. I read your comment and can say you had a memorable journey, a life that gave you memories that you could recall whenever you like and not get bored as you can't help to give out a smile everytime 😊.
Ditched the keyboard. Good call.
They didn't need that keyboard anyway
bassist was really good he even added a fill in the chorus
See I would do this but I can’t sing or play any instruments
Me fr
GOES HARDDDD
This cover is awesome! The vocalist almost sounds like Rivers himself!
Just did this in pretty much the exact same way, came here to see if anybody else had done this
The kids are so positive!!!! Love Cameron!!!
Here to say a big thank you to everyone still watching this video! I played lead, and vocals! After this long, it is still a memory I hold dear to me!
Amazing!!
Yo is your weezer cover band the same one that had the smashed keyboard at the middle school talent show, just wondering like actually tho
Are you really the same guys from the keyboard collapse video? It's one of the best videos in the internet, and this follow up of you guys absolutely killing it makes it even better
My question, did you win?
@@Klotzy4433 There was no competition, but in our hearts, yes :)
ez
As a guitarist, that opening riff was smooth, especially for an eighth grader.
Indeed. The opening riff is easy if you don't play it right. Playing it correctly like he did isn't so easy
Super clean.
My school can play this like a breeze
at school we are playing this, and i can tell you it does not sound this good
These kids are actually very good
so fucking talented my god
The bassist and lead singer are the same person. Change my mind.
They’re actually really fucking good wow
Is this at a high school?
Middle school
One of the better covers I've seen, and I'm a massive fan
ua-cam.com/video/3VEZH8bqytA/v-deo.html I'm not a Star Trek fan Bjjii
We all know who won the talent show to say the least!
hi
Hi
Better audio and this would have been damn nearly been spot on. Good job gents.
The good ending
Poor kids you’d think they wouldn’t play Weezer after the keyboard incident
Half the band has the Rowley Jefferson haircut
😂 I couldn’t agree more!
But the rodrick heffley attitude

I hope these youngsters start a band. The guitar solo gave me chills. Keep rock alive kids!
